I think the worst book i couldnt get my mind into was Hatchet.

The worst books I have ever read were:
Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck and
The Catcher in the Rye by Salinger

they both suck, in my opinion and I would never recommend them to anyone!

I know a lot of people loved this book , but I think Evermore is the worst book I've ever read ! Ever and I've read a lot of books . Sorry those of you who were fans of it . lol (:

Me either! I wouldnt say i hate it but i didnt like it either. it was very disappointing

Oh and I HATE HATE HATE Potiki by Patricia Grace I think her name was. had to read it for school. was the worst book i have ever read. after i finally finished it i had forgotten what it was about lmao.

And i dont like The Divinci Code (sp)

Animal Farm is horrible. dont ever read it

haa yeah i will agree with you . I had to read it for english in 9th grade and didn't like it at all .

Kiss of Midnight (book one of the midnight breed series) by Lara Adrian. It was so cheesy.

the across five aprils. i died of boredom woke up then died again at the book. and it made my head hurt i barely even finished the book. IT SUCKED!!

Of Mice and Men was a weird book but to me it wasnt tha bad LOL. i wouldnt recommend it either though

The worst book that I've ever read (completely, not unfinished books...) was Gerald's Game by Stephen King. It was the last Stephen King book that I ever read.

The worst book I ever read was New Moon. I don't like the whole series mainly because vampires aren't supposed to sparkle, but it's also largely because they're not well written. I loved the conversations in Twilight but the beginning of New Moon was so boring and poorly written that I couldn't finish it. The funny conversations aren't worth that agony. XP

Not even A Christmas Carol? That was just about the only one I could understand for a while.

lol I havent read a christmas carol, I started reading oliver twist and after almos falling asleep I quit and gave him another chance with great expectations, which failed again, since I really fell asleep, thats a hard thing to happen by the way


but if a christmas caroll works, great, as they say, 3rd time...something

hmm the worst book i ever read would have to be the contender i fell asleep literally in class on the first page

really? i LOVED Dracula! it is one of my all time favorite books. i've read it 3 times and get something new and interesting from it each time! but, i guess to each their own. sorry you didnt like it :(

It's actually the easiest to understand than most of his others. It might've just been the fact that I've seen the version with George C. Scott so often.

OMG i feel the same way! New Moon's boring. and very cheesy too. and the movie sucks more. except for jacob's rockin' bod ofcourse!

Difficult... but lets see:
The Davinci code, Eragon and everything by Jan Wolkers (dutch author you are forced to read on school)
Don't you hate it when a book starts okay but gradually becomes worse by the page??

I was afraid The Outstretched Shadow would end up that way, but eventually it got more interesting. Still hard to get through though.

To kill a Mocking bird is awful

- Minion by L.A.Banks; I've just finished reading this book as it was a Challenge read I set for myself, and I had to push myself to finish it. Overall it was rubbish.

Flirt by Lauren Hamilton/ Anita Blake Novel.

I agree, I was very dissapointed with this book, it seemed to short for it to be a proper book. And it felt like it wasn't finished properly.
