Not Bill | 1061 comments Ah yes, China - the viral gift that keeps on giving. I don't have the Zombie Survival Guide yet, but I've seen Sean of the Dead and all the George Romero films, so I figger I'm good to go.

I just want to know what the hell is going on. I have been up all night all week, and everyone shuts up at 9, now it is 1113 and people are still talking... ZOMBIES!

**runs away**

Sally (mrsnolte) gah! This is awful! What was the movie in which all the children were dead and only old people are left? what was that...

*wanders away, scratching forehead, muttering to self*

Lorena (lorenalilian) Charissa, there are a couple, lord of the flies was kind of like that too ... ;o)

Sally (mrsnolte) Children of the Corn.

But I'm thinking of a new, recent scary flick, in which there is no more means to reproduce, no children survive past a certain age, the human race watches itself perish as a whole because they can't propagate.

yup, Children of Men. Clive Owen in a trench coat (actually Clive Owen always seems to be in a trench coat). Depressing as fuck. Great film.

Sally (mrsnolte) Yes yes yes yes yes. Charissa! Donna! right-o!

*sighs*

Clive Owen has been yumming up all sorts of depressing/icky movies lately. (Shoot em Up)

Sally (mrsnolte) right-o?

::fish slap to myself for the awful RR reference::

Lorena (lorenalilian) I liked children of men a lot, only after I watched it did I someone tell me that there was a book about it, I wonder if it would be good to read it or not ...

message 13: by Lorena (new)

Lorena (lorenalilian) When possible I like to read the books first, because more times than not they contain so much more information that bring the movies into full spectrum, maybe this will be the case here because even though I liked the movie I have lots of questions about it.

This is awesome news! Does anyone know if they're the slow, lumbering zombies, like in the G. Romero films, or the rabid ones like in 28 Days Later?
