Science fiction was out of my comfort zone. I never read War of the Worlds, Star Wars or any of the typical books that pop into your mind. However, I found Sherrilyn Kenyon in Dec of 09. She writes fantasy/sci-fi/romance novels. Born of Night was so good I put my name on the list right away for the next book in the series. I'm now on the 3rd book.

I never really thought of The Lord of the Rings as science fiction. I always thought it was fantasy.
I've listened to the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy several times. It is like a comfort listen. I haven't picked up the book because I listen to it so often.

Neuromancer is a book I would like to get to. I've heard good things about this book.
I just seen Necromancer is on the 1001 books to read before you die list.

i don't typically read science fiction, but several of my students read this book and told me i HAD to read it. so i did. it's a YA and science fiction.
interesting.

It does sound good. I added it to my wishlist on my nook :)
Paperdoll. I'm not sure what it is about. I have only heard of people saying it was good. I don't read synopsis hardly ever. I just pick up the book and read. Either I love it on it's own or hate it on it's own with no influence. Well, besides from word of mouth. Like the host, I shut everthing out about it so the only thing I knew about was aliens and that was it.
