I have My Sister's Keeper sitting on my shelf waiting to be read.

She sounds like a author that you can read then you need to go off to another area of reading before you can pick up another of her books. I seem to get into a low sad state if I read many serious books in a row.

A suicide pact.... That is a bit much. I would have to be in the right mood to pick up a book that serious. However, it takes a strong person to write about such intense issues.

I am anxious to hear back from you on this one...
