The reasons for "banning" a book vary with the time period and what is considered "moral" by that generation/time.
Yes, of course. This list (and all of the others) is of books banned over the centuries for mainly for this reason for that time. Some of the books that were banned for this reason are not banned now. Banned doesn't mean that you can't buy it. A particular book was banned from just one school, library, or area or multiple. Not all of the US.

I've read it and I can't remember any real sexual content in it. At least not anything that I can remember so if there was any it was minor.

yes i agree. but nothing really about sex. i mean if you going to ban a book. make sure it has actual sex scenes in it.

After Anne's father died, the diary was republished without censor.
