The winner of this week's quiz is Jenna Gall. Fatima was thrown into jail by Uday Hussein as a result of an article she wrote in the Babel newspaper. After the Gulf War in 1990, Baghdad was rapidly reconstructed with splendid buildings and monuments to Saddam. However, the misery of the people intensified. Buried in Fatima's article was the suggestion that if there were any surplus funds, they be used to upgrade medical clinics. The Hussein family viewed this as a criticism of the regime.
