I'm participating as well. :-) You may find my books and information here: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/vi...

Just registered to your site. does the 'T' come in XXL? My GF wants one for PJ's; I warned it might give her nightmares.

I have the t-shirt in XL only at this time, but that is pretty big. Give it a try. If it's too small I'll give you your money back.

I just added all of our titles to the promotion at 25% off.

I'm planning to do a press release via PRLog. I've already promoted it on my author blog, Twitter and my FB fan page ... but will be renewing those. I figure that Friday is the best day to do all of the reminders and the press release, as it's closer to the event.
Smashwords usually does a special catalog entry for these promotions; I had a few sales from the summer promotion last year.

Enter code JZ84Y to get it for $2.99 through March 17.
Hi Darcia and friends.
I thought I should throw my book into the mix.
Smashwords Read an E-Book Week promotion, taking place March 7-13. You can download my book Short Shocks Vol I (100 pages) for FREE. Just use the promo code RFREE
http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/...
I'd love any comments you have. I understand if it's not your cup of tea. If you've already read and commented previously, thank you.
I'd be honoured if you could pass on the word to anyone how might be interested.
Best regards as always. Andy

There you go, Susan. Now, you feel much better. So calm and exuding Godess-like qualities for doing that :D

If they can't afford cake, let them read. I'm sure someone said that before :)

While the royalties would be nice, I'm looking at this as a continuation of what I've already been doing -- building my audience by providing free content.
I don't get any royalties from Lulu, as I had to take mine off to make the price as low as possible. Still too expensive, I think. I only get royalities from Smashwords (when not on promo) Ahh to be rich and, well rich:)

I get better royalties from Smashwords than I do from Lulu, Andy. When I put the novel up via Lulu, I'll still offer the download. I figure it's better to give people options -- and any sale at any spot helps the rankings at that particular site, too.
Ahh, what a tangled world, this self-pubbing can be...
If only self-pubbing meant we could get drunk too :)

If anyone's interested in checking out a couple cool fantasy novels that are getting fabulous reviews, mine are over at Amazon (and could use some hits in the tags for fantasy and dragons and that kind of stuff). http://tinyurl.com/CMFGkindle and http://tinyurl.com/CMFKkindle
I wish us ALL good luck with making money at this some day. Just because a publisher has a hand in bringing the book to life doesn't mean the author's making money. I, too, long for the day... ;)
From Sandy Lender
"Some days, you just want the dragon to win."
I'd love to give them away free all the time, just for people to be able to read and share your work, but it twists your guts when you realise how much time, effort and research goes into the work. Oh well. We do it because we love it and we can't help writing. I personaly find it theraputic too.

Short stories of all kinds by goodreads authors at
http://www.menage-a-20.com
Ménage-à-20 offers well-crafted stories from Andy and nineteen other of your friends here on Goodreads. Fantasy, horror, realistic, etc., and a surprise romp of a story at the end. Be sure to check out our group picture on the back cover too -- everyone hovering over our poor expiring leader.
Ohhh, thanx Jeanne. I totally forgot to get around to mentioning the fantastic reads that are contained in the Menage-a-20 book. I read and enjoyed each and every one. Thanks again Jeanne :)
