Because my TBR is sooooooooooooo tiny.... (Hah!)

I love stories that take place in the theater world, doesn't matter what era (though late 19th century is my favorite). If you know of any, please toss me some titles!

Love love | 120 comments Hi Karla! Have you tried 'Love's Fiery Jewel' by Elaine Barbieri?? It starts in 1775 and follows a group of theater performers from the Charleston Harbor to Jamaica and back. The theater theme is more in the background of the story and not the main plot however there is some performances.

Thanks! Haven't read it, so I'll have to check it out. If the theater is a prominent part of the story, so much the better, but I'll take anything. :)

I think I have both of these in the TBR, heard good things about them and also that there's some technical facts wrong, but I can overlook those! As long as the drama's good. :)

Danielle The Book Huntress (gatadelafuente) Romance of the Rose by Julie Beard. It is, sort of. The heroine is an aspiring playwright who is friends with the bard, William Shakespeare. You might like it.

That looks interesting Danielle. Yet another to add to my TBR. :)
