I'm trying REALLY hard to keep my promise: I'll post AT LEAST a chapter every 2 days or so! Since I'm a college student and my exams are about to start, that will be hard, but do not worry, I'll made up for my readers (Right now I have 3 of them YAY!!!!).



So, I'll share with you a little something from one of my books. This is a science fiction, Urban fantasy kind of book. It's going to be a series of 3 or 4 books (it will depend on how much I have to say about this world.), and it's called The Host Series, the 1st book being called Body. Here's a quick description:



"Aurora always saw the world in a very easily way. After all, there are only three things essential to the survival of the human being: a body, oxygen, and a heartbeat - she's a nurse, so she knows that kind of stuff.
She had a routine: get up, eat, work, sleep. After her return from a mission in Afghanistan, nothing else seemed to matter. In the end, everyone would end up the same way: dead. What was the purpose of doing more than the strictly necessary?
However, Aurora sees her beliefs - and her town - fall to the ground, when a group of terrorists begin a massacre, leaving a trail of blood and dead bodies. She wakes up one morning to a silent and empty truth: no bodies, no other living forms, human or animal.
In a quiet drive to the capital with her family, she discovers that the terrorist attack spread to other parts of her small country as well.
