Are the books better than the tv show??

i find this question so difficult, because they are so different...and plus the show has got Ian somerhalder in it......it just makes it harder :D

this is very easy for me. the tv series! i really do not like the books at all. the only reason i read them was for the tv series before i started the tv series. and i thought ther were slow kinda and i couldnt get in them and couldnt care for the characters that much but the tv series is different. i get all excited each week for a new episode! im gonna die waiting for september to get here when the season 1 ends.

yup....i finished the fury, and now im onto nightfall. Im looking forward to it, as there is meant to be a lot more damon in it, and hes my favourite character soo...it should be good (:

Ikr, i think if she had written the books the way the tv series is, the books would be AMAZING! but tbh, the books tend to be a bit slow. I absolutly love damon on the show, i think he is sooooooooooo awesome. And im really excited to move onto shadow souls, because you said there is more damon! woooo XD

I really like the tv show but the books are just boring. I am currently reading Nighfall wich is really bad so far and i only have 50 pages to go. I don't know what went wrong since L.J Smith is such a great author.

not sure. Sometimes i think so, other times im not so sure. Elena starts off really different, and Damon doesnt come in till much later but i like Bonnie better in the books , and both her and damon have a thing for each other - which is epic! :)

For the t.v show is a lot better i didn't like the books at ll they were the worst books i ever read
