Cheryl S. | 3501 comments "The White Garden" is the only new book I have purchased recently. I get most of my books either from Paperbackswap.com, used off of Amazon, or at garage sales and used book sales.

Bloomin’Chick (Jo) aka The Eclectic Spoonie (bloominchick) I bought it too and thankfully on sale with a coupon because I'm still unsure as to whether or not I like it!

Cheryl S. | 3501 comments I actually liked it better the second time I read it. I got kind of confused, I think mostly because of the Brit references regarding the war and what seemed to be an assumption I knew all about VW and VSW and I didn't know too much about them beforehand. I'll be very interested to see what you think when you're done.

Bloomin’Chick (Jo) aka The Eclectic Spoonie (bloominchick) I was intrigued now I'm iffy about it really. There's an odd vibe to it.

Hey Jo: When you're done with the Lacuna, if you don't have other plans for it can I buy it from you? It's on my PBS list but I'm pretty far down and probably won't get it for another year. BK is one of my all time favorite authors. Enjoy it!

Miriam I have read the Nuremberg Trials book, 101 diseases, Asleep, another true crime and am halfway through another true crime (the true crime were easy to pick up and put down with the kids here today- read when they were sleeping or when the baby was sleeping and Aiden was playing on his own). The titles are all on the recently bought thread.

Terri | 480 comments Jo: If you're asking $2 for Lacuna...SOLD! Can we do it through Goodreads so I can use my paypal account? Or do you want to do it some other way?

Cheryl S. | 3501 comments Just started reading "Blindness" and am not sure what to think at this point. One of those translated books with very little punctuation which makes it a bit hard to follow as to who is actually speaking.

LOL! Those aren't for sale! I was listing the prices I paid for each :-)

I didn't realize I hadn't moved this thread to the Archives folder since we now have the "What Did You Just Finish, What Are You Reading Now & What Books Have You Brought Home Recently?" thread in this folder.

I'm moving this thread to the Archives so please use the "What Did You Just Finish, What Are You Reading Now & What Books Have You Brought Home Recently?" here --> http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/3...

Thanks everyone!!!
