Hi! I'm Cat. I feel like a grandmother here. I'm 55. I HATE math. I LOVE reading and writing, though. I LOVE chocolate and shopping. I'm going to shop myself into the poor house.;) I'm starting to write poetry now. It took me a long time to get the nerve up to do that. I still haven't gotten up enough nerve to write short stories. I haven't read any of the Series of Unfortunate Events, but I intend to start reading them. Which one are you on now?

I looove playing the piano. I could play all day. Despise math with a passion, but last year's teacher made up for it. He was awesome. I've read all of the series of unfortunate events books... I've been reading them since I was 7! :)

Hi everybody!! you may have seen me around as an elf named Cecilia or a cat named Silverlight. ashmoon I want you to be my friend. I am 13, turning 13 and 1/2 on august 22nd which means I was born on george washington's birthday. my #1 favorite book is eragon, and remember that if you want to be my friend. I play the violin and the piano and once got in trouble at school for reading too fast. we were supposed to read 1 chapter and I accadentally read 2 way before everyone else finished the 1st one. I like to chat alot. and I like badminton more than tennis. I love language and spelling, am in advanced math but its not one of my best subjects. I'm terrible at science but still manage to score pretty high on it. I did algebra (beginning) in 6th grade and this year (i know it stinks I'm STILL in 7th grade going year round homeschooled now) I did normal allgebra and it sounds hard but its actually so easy!! easier than trapedzioms or whatever they're called. oh yeah and I'm pretty much addicted to music. any kind, the current peice thats been in my head this month (yes, for a whole month!!) is the peice I'm learning in violin, 3rd peice in suzuki book five, the Concerto in G minor 1st movement by vivaldi. thats confusing because he wrote a bunch. and my favorite composer is tchicoscovy or however he spells his name. random facts: my favorite word to spell is circumference (distance around a circle, pi r square i believe, i hate math) I like otters and cats, speak feline, and well I type really fast so I can do alot of typing without realizing how much I've typed... you may have notice... :)

I would love to learn the violin. It is one of my dreams. I might be too old, though. I am, after all, 55. I do go to college at this late age. I am majoring in English - writing. What do you think? Am I too old to start learning the violin?

No, Catamorandi, I don't think you're too old. Unless you have arthritis or something, which would make it difficult and painful to play.
For everyone who plays piano, who is your favorite composer? I looooove chopin, mostly I can't decide who I have a bigger crush on - him or Edward Cullen.. ;) .. yeah...

I live in the United States, not far from Gunjari... ;) and I like the Walrus and the Carpenter. But only because of Gunjari... remember we tried to memorize it and get Mr. M to read it for english??? (another failed attempt)

Hey, I'm Camila :) I live in the US. Math is one of my least favorite things in school ; ) and I play the cello and piano. Chopin, Beethoven, and Tchaicovsky are some of my favorites :) A few years ago I played lots of soccer but I don't anymore. The Harry Potter books are my favorites (I love the L.S. books too!!!). And Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite TV show. ; )
