PS Hope its okay I did this and hope I did it right....if not major apologies =)

Calila @Amanda ~ Out of those I've only read Marked... I highly recommend it. It was a great read. I really enjoyed the ties to Ancient Greece.

message 16: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (kittiescardigansbooks) | 7 comments @ Juli - the first deals with werewolves, the second with dragons (I am really into dragons right now!), and the third is kind of an "other world" type book where there is an Underworld and the main character is a descendant of Hercules.

@ Calila - I'll probably read that one last. I own it on my Nook and the other two are library books! But I'm more excited to read it after getting some great recommendations about it. I'm just afraid that I'll get addicted to the series!

Juli Temple (iowalass) | 8 comments Guess I will check them out and see if they have them @ Library for down load! Thanks everyone! I have really enjoyed everyone giving me great recommendations on this blog! Juli

Calila I'm reading Warrior by Zoe Archer. It's great so far. Not strictly a paranormal but it was a magical element....I think it's more Steam Punk-y but I'm no expert lol.

I'm reading Insatiable by Meg Cabot. Anyone read it? Only read the first two chapters so far.

message 24: by Calila (new)

Calila Just finished Sunrise in a Garden of Love & Evil by Barbara Monajem. Secondary characters totally made this book. Had such issues with the "hero".

Also reading Crave by JR Ward.

message 25: by Calila (new)

Calila I just finished Eternal Hunger by Laura Wright. Seriously loved this book!!! Alexander was great...he never became annoyingly alpha...just pleasantly alpha. Sarah was awesome, stood her ground without being stubborn.

message 26: by Calila (new)

Calila Finished Darkness Captured by Delilah Devlin. Took awhile to get invested, but by the end I was rooting for the hero/heroine to end up together.

I love Shelly Laurenston! I think if they were less over the top they wouldn't work as well as they do. She definitely has it right - if you are going to go crazy with your characters, you'd better go all out! I think Pack Challenge (Magnus Pack, #1) by Shelly Laurenston is my favorite book in that Magnus Pack series, as well as just plain one of my favorite books of hers period (maybe because it was the first book I read of hers, and subsequently got me hooked)

message 34: by Calila (new)

Calila @Amanda, I haven't read any of her other books but HKK was enough to make me want to check them out.

Read Phantom Pleasures by Julie Leto. Good read, glad i have the whole trilogy so i don't have to wait for the next book LOL.

message 35: by Calila (new)

Calila Finished Phantom's Touch by Julie Leto. Enjoyed it a little more than PP.

message 36: by Calila (new)

Calila Read His Darkest Embrace by Juliana Stone. So disappointed, I loved the first book but this one just fell so flat....don't buy the love story at all. That said...I am still looking forward to the third book.

message 37: by Calila (new)

Calila Also finally read Lover Awakened by JR Ward. Totally my favorite of the 3 in the series i've read. Just loved it!

message 38: by Calila (new)

Calila I managed to get one last book in 2010. Read Kiss of the Phantom by Julie Leto. Nice way to end the trilogy.
