The FAYZ: The Gone Series discussion

Okay, this is a new role play and it's set just after Hunger, in the months before Lies. It's going to focus mainly on the rift between Freaks and Normal.

We see in Lies, how the town is now completely divided between the Freaks and Normals. Freaks in the west, Normals in the east. It wasn't like this in Hunger, so in the five months between the 2nd and 3rd book, things got worse. This is that story.

I'm using the same character I had before: Lexis. Has bat-wing, echolocation, and a body built for flying. Handy with a bow and survival skills. Usually spends her time in the wilderness, out of town. But recent events have had her considering revealing herself as a mutant.

Here I go:

*Lexis crouched on a tree, bow raised and arrow aimed at a deer in the distance. It was late afternoon and she was far closer to the town than she normally dared get--just north of the town highway, but she was sick of fish and deer liked this area. Suddenly she picked up movement in the distance. It was far away, about two hundred yards, on the very edges of her echolocation's reach so she couldn't make out what it was. The deer heard it too and bolted. Lexis cursed, but didn't reveal her hiding spot as the sound grew closer.*

(( Okay, I see confusion, so I'll clear all this up.

Dan: yes, it's set in the same time, but I thought it'd be fun to see what other situations would arise in a new thread, if a different path was taken by the characters.

Rose, Grace: I'm using the same character. You can use your old one, or if you want to, you can make another. And if you keep the same character, we do NOT know each other yet.

Also...I may be getting to deep into this, but I wanna try to plan this role play out a bit more. I want to have an actual confrontation with Zil first, not just randomly have him come after us. I'd also like (if none of you mind) to have some of the main characters like Astrid, Dekka, and Eidlio to make a few appearances and see what it's like for our characters to actually interact with other kids. I mean, it seems like the town if completely devoid of life except for our characters and Zil's goons. (I'd love to play Dekka, and if none of you want him, Eidilo. And I'll be happy to make up a few random town kids that our characters have to protect.)

Sorry, if you all think I'm being to serious about this. I've roleplayed elsewhere before and they were more serious about how you portrayed your characters and their actions. The point was to make your characters as real as possible...But in the end this is about FUN. I don't want to scare anyone off by being to intense.

If any of you have ideas please share them! I don't want to make this plot all up by myself! I enjoy hearing what you guys have to say!))

((Haha, of course not Sierra. I'm serious about role-play and like writing my characters as if they were in a real book I was writing and such. So, this is basically a start over thing?))

I figured I could run into you and Grace first (of just you if Grace isn't here right now) simply because you're on more when I'm on, and then we become a group. And then Dan and Matt can join in if they so please. Or whatever really.

I just want the character's respones to be more realistic (as realistic as they can be in the FAYZ), as well as events. Write like, like you said, like you're writing a book from you character's POV.))

((Dan is here! the roleplay don't start till i walk in. I play Magnum, as you know. i shared zil with Matt, 'till Matt asked politely if he could do it full-time. oh, and i've checked the physics involved with highly pressurised steam, and i can add a few new scientifically-correct abilities.))

Magnum stopped running and looked back, spotting the Human crew goons chasing him. "I told you guys! I'm Not a Freak!" he shouted back at them. "Oh yes you are!" the reply came back. Magnum sighed and flicked two valves on the heels of his metal legs, He jumped, and in mid-air pressed a button near his thigh. Pressurised steam shot out of the valves, propelling him high into the air. The human crew goons looked up, and as Magnum shot over them, they could just hear "I'm not a freeeeeeeeaaaaaakkk- oh, shit" on the wind.

Lexis froze in her tree with shock when she finally saw what the distubance was. It was a boy, about her age, with legs that were...not flesh. Some type of metal, but they made a hissing sound and releazed a faint whispy substance. He dropped out of the air into a small glade several yards away with a thud. She was even more shocked when she saw the Human Crew bust into the picture a few more yards behind him.

Her grip tightened on her bow. 'What to do?' she asked herself. She'd been hiding specifically to avoid the HC, even ignoring the drama in Perdido Beach. But she didn't think she could stand by when the trouble was right in front of her. 'Are they going to attack that boy?' There were a lot of the HC members, only one boy. If they did...she couldn't stand by.

Lexis jumped to a branch in the next tree and began silently tree hopping towards the boy's location, landing high in a tree that rimmed the glade. She could see now with her eyes what was going on, took in all the kids in better detail. Could see the strange limbs the boy had, like something out of a Jules Vern book.

Making sure the bandages around her torso and hands were tight she aimed her arrow at the nearest HC kid, waiting for an attack. 'Wonder what steampunk boy will do...'

Magnum stood up and turned, looking at the human crew members. the first thing that he noticed was that they were all carrying clubs, crowbars and wrenches. MELEE weapons. if push came to shove, they wouldn't even get close enough to attack. "i told you bastards, bugger off!" he shouted at them, "I'm not a freak!" they looked at his right arm and legs then, as one, said "yes you are!". Magnum looked down at his hand and sighed. "i MADE these!" he shouted, "with my own two hands! well, one of my hands and one from an assistant, but the sentiment is the same!".

The HC members looked slightly nervous, until one of them decided that, powers or not, The boy in front of them looked enough like a freak for him to say he mistook him for one. He charged forward, towards the Kid. there was a soft twanging noise and the world went dark.

Magnum's hand was halfway to his waist when he heard the twang, it was holding the .44 Magnum colt anaconda when the arrow hit the leading normal in the chest, and he had raised it and a German Luger when the rest of the normals charged. the fight was over pretty much instantly. the last normal dropped to the ground as Magnum holstered his Handguns. as the normals lay there clutching their knees, there was another soft twanging noise. Magnum spun around and caught the arrow, half an inch from his shoulder, with his Copper Hand. he snapped it. "Look, i'm one of the arguably good guys!" Shouted Magnum, "now get down out of that goddamn tree!" there was a pause, and Magnum fancied he could hear a sharp inhalation from the upper branches of the tree in front of him. he sighed, and added "spending almost four damn weeks being hunted down by freaks and normals alike have sort of sharpened my senses, ok?"

*Lexis' wings fluttered nervously behind her, but she lowered her bow. The boy was fast....faster than a human should be. 'Must be the limbs...'she thought. She frowned but could tell from his heartbeat, which was slowing down not speeding up, that he wasn't lying. Seeing he was the only boy left Lexis decided to do as he had requested.

She drew another arrow from her modified backpack-turned quiver, notched it, and leapt off the branch, gliding downwards and landed behind the boy.

Instantly he spun on his heels and was facing her, guns raised. There was a tense moment before Lexis smoothly pulled out of her crouch and raised an eyebrow, though her hands remained on her weapon.

"Good guy? You were awfully quick to shoot all of them....the boy I shot should still be alive, though not for long. I was planning on scaring his friends enough that they ran, and would take him to the Healer....," Lexis informed calmly, glancing at the bodies.

Sighing she pulled off her backpack (with straps that could buckle over her shoulders to avoid crushing her wings)and grabbed a flare out of it. Without hesitation she fired it into the sky, sending up a bright flame into the night sky. Then she turned to the boy.

"If you don't wanna be found I suggest you start moving. The town kids will have seen that and will be here soon. They'll get the Healer, and maybe some of those boys will live," Lexis informed cooly before turning on her heels and walking off.

((Dan, I'm sorry, I should have warned you. Lexis doesn't kill unless she absolutely has too. If you could go back and change "caught the arrow, half an inch from his nose" to "from his shoulder" or something that would be great.

But I like the idea of our characters being having kind of a "you suck, but you're my friend vibe." :D))

Capri plucked another honeysuckle off the bush and licked the nectar off. The sun beat down on Tony Hampson's backyard where Capri Aarons and a few other Human Crew members were lounging. Tony's house was one of the 10 houses the HC was staying in, besides their headquarters.
Graham Caverly came to the back door and called "food's ready," to Capri and the other six kids. They all went inside and sat around the dining room table. They were served canned artichokes and stale crackers on paper plates. No one complained, they were lucky to even have food at all. A little girl whos sister poofed last week, died of starvation yesterday.
Everyone ate as slow as possible trying to chew every bite as long as they could. From the head of the table Graham began to make an announcment. "Okay everyone, later we gotta go down to James Conway's place. The chud is able to shoot wind from his hands and he's been hurassing little Laney Gray with it so we gotta put a stop to that."
Everyone cheered. "Hurrah," Capri said quietly and sarcasticly. She wasn't a big fan of the human crew's actions. In fact she knew the 7-year-old down the street, Carlos, was devloping some sort of mind-reading power. But the only person she had told was Sam, through quite a few very secret notes. The only reason Capri was in the Human crew was food, it wasn't a lot, or good, but it was enough to keep her on their side. But if it ran out, she wasn't really sure what she'd do then. She sighed and chewed her cracker while the others drowned on about how James was dead meat. And she wasn't sure that was just an expression anymore.

HOLY CRAP! Grace, you just gave me a plot idea. What if this whole mess between Zil and our soon-to-be group is because he wants revenge for you leaving the HC for our group? That would give him a reason to come after us/you and start a mini-war! It could start as harassment and threats and them move up to all our fights. Mwahahaha! You're brilliant, you know that?)))

Rose stepped out of the shower, goose bumps rising steadily on her tanned skin from the last seven minutes of her cold shower. Her body shook, as if it never felt warmth and she snatched for the light brown towel hanging from a broken towel wrack, enveloping her body with it.
Last time I ever take a cold shower. She muttered to herself mentally, then turned to the mirror cabinet above the sink, wiping away some fog with her wrist.
Rose froze, as she usually did when her fiery, ivy green eyes met the thin, frail scars that traveled around herself, like an unreadable map. They always seemed to turn more of a violet or pink color when collided with water, announcing her wrongs, violent and cursed memories.

Rose picked up an old brush and ran it through her dripping wet hair, and once she was satisfied, tip toed into the hallway, taking glancing looks left and right. She hadn't the idea whose home she was in, nor did she give a shit, but she needed a place to sheep and a shower.
Off the small cot in the corner of the room, she slid on her torn, old blue jeans, and a long light blue blouse, followed by her oversized hoodie.
Slipping her feet into flip flops which were a size too big, she grabbed the flashlight she had found in a kitchen drawer, pulled her hood over her head and silently slid open the window.
There wasn't a point in being seen going through the front door. Besides, it would only raise questions.

Capri had snuck out undetected, went for a walk and ended up at an empty house. She layed on the roof of the house with an understuffed pillow. Then slicing through the black sky she saw a red flare. She sat up and looked around, but there was silence, no screams, no chants, no cheers, none of the human crews usual alerts that meant they were going off to attack some moof. She stood up and crawled back inside the window, took the steps two at a time and dashed to the back yard. She broke the lock on the shed with a rock and "borrowed a bike". Not stopping to think about her intentions, only fueling her curiosity she rode to the highway and turned at on of the on ramps. She left the bike in the grass and pulled her flashlight off her belt that also held a knife and a water bottle. She walked into the thin woods next to the highway and yelled out "Hello, is anyone there?" after a whike she got an answer, a chorus of groans. She walked forward, "who's th-oh my gosh," she gasped. Five boys were lying on the ground in a puddle of blood. She recognized them all, they were HC members. Alex, Zakk, Jimmy, Dave, and Rian. She called out "Is anyone there!? I need help!?" Someone had to be around to set off that flare, so she kept calling.

Lexis stiffened at the sound of the girl calling. Letting out a series of clicks the girl's image came into sharp focus. She was about Lexis' age and was armed with only a knife, probably called by the flare. But what was worse, was the sight of the small mob forming behind the girl. All boys, all stalking forward in a pack like motion, called by the flare also.

She highly doubted that those boys, upon seeing their dead comrades, would stop to listen to the girl's reason for being there alone. 'They'll blame her, won't they?' Lexis thought.

'Will they hurt her?' Lexis asked herself. Gritting her teeth, lips pulling back slightly to show pointed canines, she slipped her bow over her shoulder and leapt into the nearest tree and started branch hopping back towards the clearing, past the metal limbed boy.

When she reached the glade she didn't hesitate. She sprinted forward, faster than any normal human, scooped up the girl and leapt into a tree. Then she slammed one hand over the girl's mouth to stop her screams and used the other to grab the girl's knife. Lexis imbedded the blade in the tree above her own head. Then she wrapped an arm around the girl's middle.

"Keep quiet. I'm not gonna hurt you, but I can't say the same for the mob following you," Lexis hissed to the girl. As soon as the words were out of her mouth the group of boys burst through the trees into the clearing.

Rose slipped off the ratty flip flops, muttering some soft words and leaving them behind. They were too loud and made unnecessary words. Her legs and middle ached sorely from walking, but she somewhere away from all the crazy humanity, she'd find somewhere.
Peace.
Quiet.
Watching the light of stars through the FAYZ wall, she sighed lightly, getting bounce in her step as put one sore leg in front of the other and kept at a small jog. The farther away from Perdido, the better.
The concrete under her bare feet seemed to rub her skin raw, and she knew blister would soon scar her feet, just like all the others.
Her breathing was ragged as she came to a slower pace, sweat glistening on her body. The woods beside her skirted with noise, and Rose froze in her tracks, her green eyes narrowing as sparks of random lights, and the voices of boys errupted out of nowhere. Rose raced into the woods, almost opposite of them, doing their best to avoid them.

Capri peered through the trees to see a group of boys, more Human Crew boys, behind her. i should've waited longer to make sure they weren't coming
Capri whispered, "they know me, it's you we should be worried about, that's the Human Crew."
But she wasn't so sure, this girl could escape in seconds if she wanted to, then everyone would think that she shot the boys and call her a traitor. If she told them she didn't have a gun they'd think she was some kind of mutant who could shoot bullets from her hands.
Either way she'd probably end up dead.

((Yeah, but Lexis doesn't know that. ;D ))

Lexis' mouth stiffened into a grim line, and she knew she had to get both her and the girl away. Carefully and quickly she twirled the girl around and hoisted onto her back, ignoring the discomfort this caused her wings.

"Hold on and don't scream," Lexis ordered the girl, not waiting a split second before throwing herself across the large gap to the closest tree branches, heading towards the heart of the forest.

The voices seemed to follow Rose, like haunting ehoes bouncing of the trees, and sending chills down her spine. Rose stopped and reached down for a rock, grateful that it was at least sharp, and could damage a human if necessary. But she hated to think about the fact of killing someone.
But in the FAYZ, it didn't seem to matter anymore. The sky had seemed to darken even more in the past fourty five seconds, the shadows would hide her, butthey wouldn't be her best protection.
Rose turned to the tree next to her, jumping up and snatching onto a thick branch, easily twisting herself up into the branches, racing to climb higher and even earning herself a few scrapes.

Lexis barely had time to stop before she slammed into the girl who had suddenly appeared in the tree before her. Lexis was rarely surprised anymore--how could she be when she saw almost everything from two hundred yards off?--but this girl had managed it.

'Shit!'Lexis cursed mentally, landing on the branch next to where the new girl clung. She just managed not to fall by twisting herself and grabbing a hold of the tree trunk, using her other arm to keep the first girl on her back.

When she managed to find her balance she quickly signaled for the second girl--who had bright green eyes and long brown --to be quiet. The girl didn't have time to do anything else as a boy's voice cut through the night.

"It was freaks! It had to be! They must have guns! And look! An arrow! What kind of freak uses arrows?" the boy yelled. Lexis bristled at the comment but remained silent.

Johnny lay alone on the beach. After the "incident" things had gotten stressed between the gang.
Magnum and him seemed to be constantly arguing and it put alot of unneeded strain on Rose and Capri.
Eventually they split up for a break and a breather.
Rose and Capri had said it was because things were kinda awkward and we needed to go our own way for a while, but Johnny knew really that it was because he'd thrown Magnum through a window.
Johnny's temper had reached a short fuse and any little snide comments about his new look or anything slightly insulting earned the person a burn or a a trip through some plaster.
But now he here he was laying on the beach, smoking... a habit he would never had originally picked up until he noticed that they didn't harm him.
2 months alone. No action. Smoking.
Johnny looked down at the packet and lobbed it into the woods behind him. If he was bothered he'd go look for it later. Maybe. Possibly. He sighed. Almost definitly.
He wondered what his brother must think of him now, when all other families stick together they had tried to kill each other and now one was a rock monster and the other on the side of the HC.
He looked into the sky... and saw a streak of red cross the sky. It's starting point wasn't further than just other this cliff wall.
Glad for some action he started to climb, steadily at first before he actually gave some speed while climbing up.

magnum was hidden in a bush, near the soon-to-be corpses of the human crew. he usually went Non-lethal, but the other ones had been chasing him for the last four miles.
however, when another lot of HC's burst through the undergrowth, he forced himself to resist the urge to unsling the Browning B25 and shoot them all. he decided that he'd try to scare them off. so he got up and took out the 12-gauge shotgun, the biggest gun he had, pointing the barrel at the nearest HC member. the kid turned, shocked. "right," said Magnum, "I'd like it to be known that i usually go non-lethal, but those guys had REALLY pissed me off. i did that in 12 seconds. now sod off, or i'll shoot you all in the kneecaps"

Johnny just reached the top of the cliff and pulled himslef nimbly over the ridge. He straightened and walked down a small country path which lead near (more or less) to the flare. As he reached the spot he noticed a commotion near some trees. He crept closer and saw some HC members surrounding someone who'd been missing in Perdido for the last few months. Magnum was backed up next to a tree... granted he had a gun but so did the HC members.
He walked behind the HC members who still hadn't noticed him and waited behind him. Magnum noticed him, but still kept talking.
Johnny then put his hands on the behind two members shoulders. They looked up at him as he said, "Hello there chaps, its way past your bedtime" before smashing their noggins together. His hands turning to flames he moved towards hte other HC members.

magnum had seen johnny appear, and attack the HC members, but he'd basically stoled Magnum's fight.
magnum pulled out the Walther p99 and the sig sauer p220 and fired repetedly at the HC's kneecaps before johnny got to them. "seriously, johnny. i've told you not to burn your enemies! no-one wants to end up looking like you" he grinned.

Johnny turned, looking angry. but then again, thought Magnum, he always does...

Lexis stood on her branch, the girl with the aqua eyes still on her back, and the green eyed girl frozen on the branch at her feet.

She had been startled by the appearance of the fourth boy. He was completely encased in what appeared to be a smooth rock-like black armor. She hadn't been sure what he was right away. The rock-like skin was too dense for her to hear his heartbeat. Then he got close enough for her to see his outline, the way moved and spoke.

Now what she knew what he was...well, lets just say she had seen strange things. She herself counted as a strange thing. She was more worried about how he'd react to her and the girl's. Would he fire on him?
She didn't think her arrows would do it, but she had a handgun in her backpack. She didn't usually use it, but.....if worse came to worse, she'd protect herself.

But even more strangely, he seemed to be friends with the metal limbed boy. She didn't know if that was a good thing. The boy seemed to kill too readily but then again, four miles to be chased....

But still, he was a little trigger happy. Six kids were bleeding to death, several would soon be dead. Just like the last group. How high was the body count now? Eight? Ten? She's have to send up a flare quickly, so that not all the kids would die of blood loss. She also needed to make tourniquets.

She knew Edilio would have to did the dead kids' graves. The boy who she had watched from the sidelines, and who she respected the most in the FAYZ. Even more than Sam. This would kill him. Attackers or not, she knew Edilio hated burying kids.

Clenching her teeth and looking down, Lexis wasn't sure what to think. The boy's comment seemed to have been directed at her, but he was very easily set off. And she wasn't sure about the other boy either.

Lexis decided to risk a fight and talk. She'd leave the girls in the trees. She'd run if the boys started attacking and lead them away from the girls. Silently Lexis released the girl on her back--setting her on the branch next to the green eyed girl--and quickly pulled out her hand gun, hiding it in the pocket of her baggy green cargo pants. She also pulled out some bandages.

Then she leapt out of the tree and landed near silently in front of the boys, who--despite her stealth--quickly turned at her, poised to strike.

"Way to go, now more are gonna die,"she hissed at boy with the metal limbs, before heading straight for the bleeding kids. She began applying bandages to restrict blood flow. When she was done she set off another flare.

Johnny looked up at the flare. Growling he raised his arms and blasted it out of the sky. He turned on the girl and said angrily, "Do you wanna get yourself killed?"
When she didn't respond he continued saying, "Me and Magnum here and two others blew up HC hq a while back... they want me and him dead!" he paused.
"!And any other freak too!"
He knelt down next to the nearest kid who was whimpering. There was a bullet lodged in his leg. He knodded at Magnum who went over to a tree and ripped of a branch and fashioned it into a crutch. After he'd transformed, him and the gang had done many skirmishes with the HC, defending weaker freaks.
On more than one occasion had Johnny and Magnum done this very operation. He looked into the kids eyes, brown looking into orange and blue, before right above the bullet he got out a machete, and as strong and quick as a mountain slide, he cut off the leg, starting just above the bullet lodged below the knee.. The boys eyes widened in pain and Johnny quickly cauterized the wound. Pulling out a syringe he quickly injected the boy with a painkiller and the boys breathing slowed. After tha gang had split up he'd done this too many times by himself...

Lexis hissed when she saw the fire-boy cut off the injured boy's leg, but knew the leg was already to damaged to save. It was hanging on by a thread, even if the Healer could save it, she'd have no strength left to save the others. But the other boys, they could be healed. They needed Lana.

But she supposed fire-boy was right. At this rate sending up flares would just cause more fights. The boys wouldn't get to the Healer. But with rock-kid's help she could just cauterized the wounds, bandage them and leave kids here for the others to find. She turned to the fire-boy.

"I was trying to get the Healer here. Unlike you, I can't just seal the wounds closed..I can fly, I would have just left when the other kids got close.

And I don't CARE if you've got a price on your head. The only thing I care about is saving these kids so that Edilio doesn't have to dig anymore graves. So that when all of this ends, we can face other people without being called murders.

Now I'll shut up. You cauterize and medicate. I'll bandage. Then we can get the hell out of dodge," Lexis finished.

Johnny turned to face batgirl. Noone talked to him like that. no one
He grabbed her round the neck and hoisted her up. She struggled but he tightened his grip, she relaxed but he still held her there.
"You have no idea what some of us have went through.... i know enough about you on sight to know that this is some of your first face-to-face contact in a while.... right? I don't need you here to help, fly off like you've done all the other times...coward"
He dropped her down again and started to pick up the other boys. "Magnum, pick up the other two!" he shouted over his shoulder and he started to run towards Perdido.
Who did she think she was, he thought angrily, she didn't realise that there were no morals anymore... right or wrong was gone, all you did was survive, and some people made sure that others would survive, him, magnum, rose and capri being some of the few which did so.

Fantastic, thought Magnum, He's only just appeared and he's already imposed himself as leader... "it's ok, he's always like that," Magnum said, looking to Lexis, "last time i saw him, he'd just thrown me through a window. he then walked away, leaving me bleeding to death and screaming for help. it was up to rose and capri to save my life" he sighed "good times, good times..."

"oh," said Magnum, "if i seemed a bit trigger happy on that last group... i was being nice. if johnny had got to them before me... seriously, ever since he Changed he's been a bit... of an asshole, to say the least"

After a 10 minute sprint he was at Lana's outhouse and he dropped off the boys he'd carried. She promised to heal them so he set off back to the spot.
Hopefully bat girl had cleared off... maybe Magnum was still there. He shook his head. The last time they'd seen each other wasn't one of his proudest moments but at the time Magnum wouldn't stop irratating him about his appearance. Unfortunatly for Magnum he learnt not to do it the hard way.
Hoepfull this will all blow over, he thought, and i can go back to lying on the beach...snacking on chocolate bars and...and...
smoking. The one thing he had despised the most. The Human Crew weren't even near as high as much as he hated cigarrettes, but still he couldn't help but smoke them. He was just reaching the spot when he heard Magnum saying, "Ever since he changed he's been a bit... of an asshole, to say the least"
He stopped in his tracks. Had he? Had he blocked off all his friends. For about 3 months he hadn't seen any of his friends, keeping to the woods and the beach. Kids told storyies of a monster on the beach... it was really him.
Right, he thought to himself, i've got to change... i've got to be like i was before!
Funnily enough that resolve seemed quite hard to acheive.

Lexis' lip curled up.

"Another fucking Caine. Great. How long before he charcoals the whole town just because he throws a hissy fit?" she spat with disgust. Just a moment ago she had been mad at metal limb-boy--Magnum, was it?--but she could hear what he said was true. Her throat hurt, she knew it was bruising. Her whole frame was shaking with rage.

Had she asked the bastard to stay and help? No. He did that all by himself. She wasn't even sure what she had said to set him off. Was it because she didn't care about him--a boy who was made of stone and could shoot fire from his body--over a bunch of kids who were bleeding to death?

How many times was she going to see kids like this? Kids who thought it was okay just to harm others because they were in a fowl mood. There had been Caine, Drake, the Human Crew, and town bullies. Now fire boy?

The town was loosing it's humanity. Lexis herself was to the point where as long as people weren't dead, it was fine. And she hated herself for it. If they ever got out of the FAYZ, what would people think of what they'd all become?

(( if you wanna know what set him off was you ordering him around, he's not used to that honestly and the fact you don't care about his friends having a price on their heads made him see red as well. He's not really bothered about his price, if his head comes off he'll be fine))

Johnny listened in silence at bat girl's rant. He knew himself that him turning the town to charcoal was a possibility in his current emotional state, but thats why he moved away from town and to the beach.
He hated himself more. Even a total stranger, who was only there to help, was disgusted with him. Before he changed things may have different but now....
He walked stiffily into the clearing, drawing bat girl's and Magnum's attention. The two boys left were still lying there, untouched. Even Johnny could tell Lana couldn't help them now. He looked at bat girl and in such a soft voice even he didn't know he possessed he said, "I know you don't like me, but these kids are dead now. Theres only one way we can finish this quickly before bringing them back to town to be... buried"
He looked at Magnum and said, "Please... shoot them, in the chest"
The boys were already unconsious from bloodloss. He looekd pleadingly at Magnum and yet again begged, "Please... for their sakes"
Magnum nodded, rose the gun and....
