Romance Series Lists discussion

I'm always forgetting when books come out so I thought this would be a good group to add a post to keep track of upcoming romance releases. These are books I'm waiting for. If you have some you want to add (with date), leave a comment and I'll add them to the list.

NOTE: these don't have to be part of a series :)

P.S. if this idea interests a lot of people, I have an idea to reorganize to make it easier to use...so maybe first post a comment on whether you'd use the list/add to list so I know whether to stick with this format or redo it.

Great idea, Isis! I totally forgot about Loretta Chase's new release until I walked into my local B&N and saw a copy on the shelf. I faithfully check out the Blockbuster releases every Tuesday so ya'd think I'd remember to check out the new book releases too!

Unless it's a book I'm waiting impatiently for, I don't know the book is out until I see it somewhere. I created a bookshelf in my profile for upcoming releases, which helps a little, but it doesn't have dates. So maybe this will help a little more :)

I have some fairly extensive lists of upcoming books separated by month. It's the only thing I still use Amazon for. They are under Julie L. Anderson in Georgia and are separated by month (0608, 0708, 0808, etc). They are then prioritized by high-early in the month, medium-mid month, and lowest-late in month. I keep them fairly updated and only remove books after I buy them...

Julie...wow, you're even more organized than I am :) I'm impressed!

It's so nice to hear it called organized instead of anal!! All the folks at the bookstores know about me and my 'lists'. And one of the carhops from the local sonic told me they call me the "book lady"!

You should see my "book notebook" that I carry around with me, and my spreadsheet printouts. My Mom thinks I'm nuts.

I think this is a great idea. I'd use it to make sure I haven't missed anything by my favorite authors.

Thanks for the additions, Julie! For now, I'll leave them on this post until I decide whether there is enough interest to do it the other way.

If more people like this idea, I'll make posts for each month and then people can add releases they know about.

There's probably a way to copy/paste them. I guess I might as well reorganize this idea now. People will either use it or they won't ;) So as soon as I finish my dinner, I'll get some new posts up for month of release.

I almost never pay attention to those things - the only book I'm waiting for is Seduce me at Sunrise by Kleypas! - but it's always good to know which books are coming out.
