June's Featured Author is Lora Leigh. She is a New York Times bestselling author of fantasy fiction. Lora Leigh is known for her intense erotic romances and suspense novels.

Lora Leigh writes HOT books! From her early days as a fantasy writer, through her military/SEAL stage and now her paranormal Breed series, Lora Leigh brings us fun adventures, steamy scenes and plenty of action.

Challenge Task: Read one book written by our featured author
Challenge Duration: The whole month

To sign up:
Post your interest and the book you are planning to read.

You must also signify if you are:
A - I'm a big fan! I'm excited to read another of her books.
B - Familiar with her work, and wouldn't mind reading her again.
C - Totally new to this author. Will see how I like it.
D - Didn't like the last one I've read, but willing to give it another chance.

To complete:
Post the date when you've completed your book.

You must also say if, after reading:
A - would definitely look at her other books, since I've enjoyed this one very much.
B - could take it or leave it. Was not an unpleasant experience but I'm not burning rubber to get to her other books.
C - Oh well, I tried. Definitely not my cup of tea.

A little review of the book read is welcomed but not required.

She has an extensive booklist. She is pretty popular with her series books, but she has a few stand-alones I believe. Also she has plenty of novellas that are part of several anthologies.

I did not receive any invite for the drinking part of the challenge!
Where do I sign up for that?

message 16: by EowynRN (new)

EowynRN | 2 comments Note on the reading order: I just picked up one of her books randomly (Begal's heart) and it read just fine without all the backstory, because there is enough in the book.

I'll be sending an invite when i start reading Nauti Deceptions. Dina made up this great game where you take a drink every time certain key words come up in the book. LL & CF are known for them.

On a side note, i started around 3pm? It's to hot here so i couldn't help myself.

Rossy...I have to say I’m a little disappointed, how come you didn't tell me about this fabulous game?
You know how much I struggled last month with Freehan’s Shadow Game… if I had known about this wonderful “approach” for that kind of reading I’m sure I would’ve liked it sooo much more.
Although I probably would’ve been drunk by chapter three…

You, Dina and MelissaB are brilliant!, your contribution is like Einstein’s relativity theory.. but, you know, useful.
LOL
