Jael, did the book have to come out this year? Does it have to be something like Magic Bleeds or Lover Mine, which came out this year and are the last release for that series for the year, or can it be the last book released in a series, even if it wasn't released this year?

Fantasy series don't always hold to the one release a year like UF & PNR. Sometimes it can be years between books.

All we can do is HOPE that Butcher's publishers let him go on with the series that he was envisioning. But a WHOLE YEAR. That's going to feel like FOREVER

Welcome marilla and Congrats to all who have finished!

I'm only up to #7 for the Harry Dresdens, but I read somewhere else that Butcher supposedly has a Harry short coming out in an anthology this summer that takes place shortly after Changes ends. So you won't have to wait an entire year for resolution to the cliffhanger. Supposedly. :)
