i'm currently reading

Unapologetic_Bookaholic Dee: There are so many great series. I couldn't dedicate my time to just one book a day! I switch between 2-3 sometimes. You see my measly page counts, lol. I get a ton of books read a month, but it takes a month to read them. In so cased like with Infinity I can set aside everything else and read the book in two days.

I'm excited to start CF's Carpathian series. I've been wanting to read it for a long time. Someone I met at the ubs told me it's best to have the novella's on hand, and read them in order b/c I may be lost if I don't. What do you think?

I've not read this one yet but I've read earlier books int eh series. One thing you need to know about these, they do build on one anotehr. So if you haven't read the first books in the series you will be confused about what's going on and miss out on the earlier events leading to this one.

Yes, I agree you really should read them in order because she builds on the story. I also think that you should read in order because you are introduced to the characters and you will be more emotionally involved if you do. You know what I mean?

KindleRomance Reviews I love Feehan and Dark Carpthians is one of my all-time favorite series. You can count on them to be consistent - there is always a HEA, the H&H don't fight (there may be tension but not fighting), and the steam factor is high but nothing kinky. I only read one or two out of order and I wish I hadn't. I agree with the other comments - the characters show up again and again so it really helps to know who they are. Enjoy!!

Kit Orellana (kittyorell) I just finished Slave, Warrior, Rouge, Outcast, and Fugitive all by Cheryl Brooks, all very good if you like science fiction-y plots with your romance. I am goin to start Lost by Michael Robotham as soon as i get off the computer, but it's not PNR or UF, it's action/suspense.

message 33: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (Smiley1881) I finished Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1) by Kelley Armstrong by Kelly Armstrong last night and now I'm starting Witch Fire (Elemental Witches, Book 1) by Anya Bast .

Unapologetic_Bookaholic I am reading Living Dead in Dallas. Its a LIB book. Sometimes I am not allowed to re-check them out. So I MUST read them in a couple weeks. I like Sookie so these books are easy to read at leisure.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) Ooo! Both good books!! I've given up trying to stick to a planned tbr.

Still Reading Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë and started Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter, #3) by J.K. Rowling

message 49: by Valorie (new)

Valorie I'm finding myself very disappointed with
Devour (Institut Scientifique, #1) by Melina Morel . It is very dis-jointed, the writing doesn't seem to flow. She jumps from one character situation to the next very quickly. The characters interaction with each other seems very formal and reminds me of bad acting in movies. It is very difficult to pick the book back up again. I'm going to try and get through it, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) Eek, hate bad acting. Thanks for the heads up.
