Fantastic idea Beth! I second that applause:)
Ok, as I'm always looking for great new book recommendations, I'll be first :-)
I'm looking for amazing urban fantasy novels/series:
- my absolute favourite is Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series, I loved Mastre of None by Sonya Bateman and Embers by Laura Bickle
- I already have the Mercy Thompson series and Kim harrison's Hollows series on my TBR shelf
Needing recommendation in another category: funny paranormal novels. I already have Strange Neighbors by Ashlyn Chase and the Witchcraft series by Juliet Blackwell on my TBR list, what other great funny and original paranormal novels are there I should check out?
Thank you all! :-)

UF : There is always Anita Blake series by Laurell K.Hamilton(beware :there are 19 books in the series and still going strong!) ,there's Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series and Lilith Saintcrow's Dante Valentine series. But I will consult with a friend/expert on UF novels and come back to you :)
Thank you AtenRa! You got it right, these were the kind of books I was looking for :-) Some paranormal books that are humourous and don't take themselves too seriously :-) (I also have the Accidental series by Dakota Cassidy on my wishlist)
I have read the 1st Anita Blake book, but found it average. It isn't the sensuality I have a problem with, I don't mind the sex scenes when they are well done.
Thanks for the Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series recommendation, have heard great things about that series, will have to check it out!
