Amanda, Love all the Lisa Kleypas novels you've read. Last year I discovered Kleypas and I read all the ones I could get my hands on. How did you like Carole Mortimer? I've never heard of her. Is Rachel Gibson a contemporary author? Have you tried Julia Quinn or Judith McNaught? I love them both.

Carole Mortimer's books weren't bad. I just read them the other night actually. I bought them because they were discounted on my nook. I only read the historical ones though I guess she has written over one hundred harlequins books. I love Rachel Gibson she is contemporary and I love the humor that she adds to her books. I haven't read any of Julia Quinn's yet but have her on my TBR pile. I haven't even heard of Judith McNaught what kind of books does she have?

McNaught's got both contemporary and historical books. I prefer her historical romances. Her contemporaries while good, somehow lack the magic in her historical novels. Some of my friends love her more than Kleypas, but she's number 2 in my book. Kleypas, of course, being number 1. The historical romances are set (if memory serves - I've read a ton of romances the last year and an half) in England.

I'll have to try Gibson. I've been looking for a good contemporary author. Thanks.

Judith Mc Naught is one of the best, love all her books, WHITNEY MY LOVE, SOMETHING WONDERFUL, ALMOST HEAVEN are some of my favs by her, try her, you will def like her.Read Carol Mortimer in the HP line of romances, some hit and misses, but in gen, do like her books.
