Wow, these last chapters were packed with action! What did you guys think? Dante's powers are pretty scary, imagine what he could do if he could control them?

I'm going to have to go back and skim the last couple of chapters for further discussion (it's 11:43pm and my brain is a little fuzzy lol) - but what did everyone think of the ending? Was it what you expected?

I was a little disappointed with how things ended with Heather and Dante. Yet at the same time I'm glad that Heather remained true to herself and didn't follow Dante back to New Orleans like a love struck school girl. That's now her way, and I was glad that she was level headed enough to realize that she needed to re-assess their relationship and her career.

I think I would have been disappointed if Heather followed Dante off into the HEA sunset.

Heather's far too independent and like you say, stayed true to herself. I just wonder what her feelings for him will be when she has time to re-assess their situation.

Only makes me wonder though how the second book kicks off. The teaser at the end of my book wasn't enough for me lol.

I didn't even read the teaser! I knew if I did I wouldn't be able to wait for the sequel! I would have gone insane! I'm hoping I get the second one. *crosses fingers*

I wasn't going to read it. Then I thought, 'oh, I'll read the first page'. Then it turned into the whole thing and me grumbling about how they should have put the whole book in the back pages lol.

Lol! Glad I didn't read it then. XD

Well being as (and yes you can still throw things at me) I never quite warmed up to Dante, I was hoping she would go do what she needed to first before running off to be with him. I can live with it if in the next book they get their HEA but I want it to be from a decision on her side :)

I was fine with the ending. A lot just happened for Heather and she needs time to take it all in and deal with the aftermath she will face with the FBI.

I totally agree--I would not have wanted her to dump her life for Dante. I like that she is a deal with everything herself kind of gal :)
