Steven Harbin (stevenharbin) | 1 comments I was just wondering what some of you are reading, either regarding the Founding Fathers, or for any other genre?
I've just started Empire of Liberty A History of the Early Republic, 1789-1815 by Gordon S. Wood Empire of Liberty: A History of the Early Republic, 1789-1815 by Gordon S. Wood. It's long but I think I'll learn a lot about the period from it...

Jane (wideranging) I am almost done with The Intimate Lives of the Founding Fathers by Thos. Fleming and am enjoying it.

Steve Van Slyke (steve_van_slyke) I just finished Christopher Hitchens' Thomas Jefferson: Author of America. After reading several TJ bio's I thought it might bore me to read another one. However, with Hitchen's style and vocabulary it doesn't really matter. It all sounds new again. Here is TJ, warts and all with no apologies.

Cece I'm reading Starcrossed by: Elizabeth C. Bunce. It's really interesting.

Martin Whatwouldthefoundersthink | 3 comments I'm currently reading The American Revolution by Robert Allison. It's short in pages but has tiny text! So far it's decent and has had a few interesting things that I didn't know.

This book is definitely on my list. Wood is sometimes difficult to read, but always makes you think.

I want to read this one too. I really enjoyed Hitchens' intro to First in Peace by Connor Cruz O'Brien.

Cece I'm reading Hunger Games by: Suzzane Collins for my book club. It's very good but sometimes dark. The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins
