I bought this book to read more about Palestine, a region I know mainly from bible than newspaper. Thanks to Ghada Karmi who has narrated Palestine story so vividly. I feel sorry for Palestinians, especially for depriving them from their own country, their life and their peace. Every one condemns it but who can do something more than uttering few sighs?
After reading the book, I felt it is a war on survival where the fittest would survive. Can we bank upon other country for our safety? Every country is for them self.
I felt Palestinians were banking upon Britishers in 1940 and now on the whole world to support them. But this is a race of survival, why anyone would come for any one's aid. Does there any country exists, who would go out of their way to help other country. No! Every ones looks for their advantage, don’t they?
