I've been told by a number of people who've read my novel on an eReader that it is particularly eerie reading it digitally because of the subject matter. It's a dystopian story about a future where paper is illegal, recycling a must and all information is digital (and secretly controlled by a "big brother" type of government). Here is a small excerpt from the prologue to give you an idea of the eeriness:
"If you are reading these words from a source other than a bound stack of printed paper, the following pages have been compromised. Including the sentences above, there are a total of 97,532 words in this story. You need to brand this number to your mind. If you reach the end of this book and the number is incorrect, the following pages have been compromised. Remember, a single word can change the world."
If you're interested, you can read the full synopsis by clicking on the link below. It's currently for sale on amazon for $2.99. It also has a short, companion story called Propaganda that is priced at $0.99. I hope you'll give my work a look! It's been getting some really great feedback on the amazon forums over the last few days.
