Fantasy Book Club Series discussion

By this book, I think we have learned a lot more about the Koriani -- namely that they are trying to manipulate humanity, specifically Arithon, to bring about their desired goal. Moriel Prime has no scruples about using/killing people to get what she wants.

The sorcerers, on the other hand, are avidly trying to avoid upsetting the laws laid down by the ancient Paravians as a condition of allowing humanity to reside on the planet. They never interfere with human behavior and/or try to manipulate their choices. It also appears as if they desire Arithon and Elaira to be together. What do you think about that?

Yes, to the point of having to gain a rock's permission to move it! I love it....

While we see a bit more of the two groups trying to run things behind the scenes, we still don't know their ultimate purpose. I think it's safe to say at this point that this will become one of the most intriguing points of the series, once it all comes together.

Oh, and I loved when Sethvir found Lirenda waiting outside his tower to ask him for the crystal.
