Order of Elizabeth Chadwick books

Scarlet Lion is the last half of his story and To Defy a King is about his daughter and Time of Singing is about his father but came after Scarlet Lion and befor To Defy a King. Hope thats not confusing

To Defy a King is the sequel to The Time of Singing (which is coming out in the US in Sept. as For the King's Favor). I recommend reading them in order, especially because of the changes in Roger in TDAK. You'll spoil yourself.

Happy Reading!
yes Misfit is a life saver and a great reading buddy, can't count the times she's helped me get thru a rut or find a 'great next read'.

or added a great quantity new books to my TBR mountain! :D
true true, thanks to Misfit some books have found me that I would have never known had it not been for her.

Thanks ladies. I have to say, don't pass up on a slow work day perusing the Listmanias. You won't believe the books I've *discovered* from them. Amazon UK as well - never would have found Shadow of the Moon or Zemindar.
whoa, are you holding out on us Misfit?...please by all means fill us in on what you've found, I need a new wishlist :}

Not medieval but always willing to corrupt,

Anyone who loves 19C India and the British Raj should put this on their list. Oops, don't forget Olivia and Jai and Shalimar either :)

agreed!!

Sandi, if you don't find another home for it, I'll buy it from you. I've been wanting to try EC from these discussions, but hadn't yet.

The Greatest Knight: The Story of William Marshal then The Scarlet Lion
then comes For the King's Favor (mine)then the 4th is due out..thats the order to read them.if not youll have to invest in the others to follow the rest...let me know. There are EC stand-alones..that you could start with first..

That it does. Her older books are more romance oriented, and I'm sure you'll like them a lot.Sabin in Falcons of Montabard is such a hottie. If only they could find an author to pump out medieval romances of that quality....
Sandi, you are lucky living in Canada. IIRC EC's books are readily available on bookshelves, even the older stuff.

Really? I recall seeing lots of older Chadwick titles at the Chapters on Robson Street. Although maybe they're a bit more *special* there.
Heh, Robson the Rodeo Drive of Canada and where did I end up spending all my time? Forget the damn furs, chocolates and cigars :)
Must stop and kiss the ground the library is built upon again. I am very very lucky.

plan to bring your lunch...supper...maybe..a sleep over..and the teaser..a used bookstore beside it that has all the "older" goodies....go only with cash leave the credit cards at home...that way you can still buy groceries for the week..
