Georgiana strung her bow and tested its strength. It seemed good, so she knocked an arrow an drew back, aiming for a target on the range.
Georgiana let the arrow fly in one smooth motion of release. It ailed across the range and landed on the bulls-eye of her target. She quickly knocked another arrow and let it fly, too, sending it gracefully across the range to land on the bulls-eye of another target.

((lol))
Madeline pulled out another arrow. She drew it back and released. It sliced through the first arrow. Madeline smiled, satisfied.

Georgiana whistled, "That was a good one! Watch this!" She fired three arrows in quick succession, knocking and drawing them in the blink of an eyes. All three slammed into a target, knocking it backwards. The three arrows were all clustered around the middle of the bulls-eye.
((lol, all I know about archery is from the Ranger's Apprentice series, and learning about elves. They're my fave magical creature/humanoid))

((nice. I get archery from playing videogames...... *cough*nerd*cough))
Madeline stared in amazement.
Madeline stared in amazement.
Georgiana smiled. "I've met my father five times. Once, he gave me this bow and quiver. The arrows reappear in the quiver after I use them, and the string of the bow is made of a strand of purified sunlight. It can't be broken," her face fell. "He's not Lady Artemis, though. She is so different from her brother... Apollo is more... reckless." she finished. She'd never told anyone but Lady Artemis that much about herself, and wondered what had made her spill so much.
Madeline smiled sympathetically. "My father died when I was little. He told me about Camp Half-Blood, but I never really believed him until I came here. I thought he was joking and just telling stories, but I was wrong, apparently. I'm still Undetermined..." she trailed off, staring at the ground.
Georgiana frowned. "I can't stand it when gods can't be bothered to claim their children. You've still got time, though. They'll claim you."
((not to give anything away, but in 'The Last Olympian', they get the gods to always claim their children, within, like, a month of their 12th birthday.))

((okies. I already found out that Percy lives and kisses Annabeth.))
Madeline shrugged. "I don't mind."
Madeline shrugged. "I don't mind."
Madeline drew another arrow and pulled it back. She let it go. I shot through the air, but fully missed the bulls-eye. Madeline sighed.
Madeline drew another arrow. She drew it back, this time aiming more carefully. She let go and the arrow shot through air. It landed dead center.
Georgiana clapped, clearly impressed. "No wonder you're a Hunter, Madeline! Lady Artemis wouldn't pick just anyone." She hugged her friend.

Georgiana set her bow on a rack and slipped off her quiver. She sighed. Thinking about her father gave her odd feelings- sadness, regret, anger, nostalgia.
Georgiana laid her arms on the railing of the archery range., then jumped over. "Come on, let's get your arrows," she called to Madeline.
Georgiana put the arrows she'd been gathering into Madeline's quiver, and they set off towards the railing again.
Georgiana thought for a moment, then said, "Why don't we go for a swim? Or canoeing?" It was a hot day, and both girls were hot from shooting arrows.
Hayley strode into the Archery Range and looked around, spotting one girl shooting arrows at targets. She looked significantly older than her and was extremely good at what she was doing. Hayley tilted her head to one side and looked at Elisa, "Look at how good she is," she murmured.
Holly heard the girls come in, but didn't bother to turn as she shot arrow after arrow, always hitting the target right on place.

"Have you ever shot an arrow before?" Hayley asked, glancing over at the other girl occasionally. "Because I haven't and don't know how."
Elisa made a face. "I've sorta." She said and grabbe a metal bow and arrow. She lined her self up and made the T motion, pulled it back and let the tension grow in the bow, she let go hitting the red dot.
"Yeah, because that wasn't amazingly good." Hayley took a bow and arrow, feeling it her hands for the first time.
Holly caught her from the corner of her eye. She turned to get a better look, a small smile appearing on her face when she noticed that they were both very young. "Need help with that?" she called, walking over to them.

Holly's gaze moved to where Elisa's bow had it. She grinned wryly, "Nice job with that. I'd ask if you were Athena's kid, but I haven't seen you around the cabin, so I'm guessing you're an Apollo. I'm Holly, Daughter of Athena." She turned to Hayley.
Hayley nodded, "I've never held a bow, let alone fire one. And, I'm Hayley, Daughter of Apollo."
