Everyone loves a BLOG . . . (almost) everyone maintains a BLOG these days, too. Here is a thread designed to promote the BLOG(s) of Fly Fish Literati members. Feel free to list your BLOG(s) and periodic updates here.

That stated, I'll start with my own:

Wildflowers of the West Village

I've been a little up in the air as to whether to continue blogging for a while - sometimes it seems so...

But I've started up again, hopefully I can rekindle the spark that got me going in the first place.

I know what you mean. I always thought about creating a multi-author blog (separate from the Trout Underground), and inviting a handful of talented folks who didn't have the free time needed to keep their own blogs running.

Idea is to aggregrate enough posts to keep the content flow nice & steady, so everyone enjoys a bigger audience (the kind of audience their talent deserves, but their schedule won't allow).

Someday...

It's a good idea, I'd like to see that happen.

In an attempt to get back into the swing of blogging and to empty my brain of spare "poetry", I'm now doing a fly fishing poem-a-day for the month of September. Now I know the world probably doesn't need this (or want it) but...
Anyway if anybody wants to check it out (and leave comments) please do. The blog is found at Casting Around

The world probably doesn't *need* anything surrounding more fly fishing writing and pictures, but it hasn't stopped me, and it shouldn't stop you.

Gave you a link in my Short Casts. Good luck with the poems.

Davin (WindKnot) | 2 comments I found this place/group/site before and think I even linked to it from my blog: http://www.flatswalker.com. It's a SaltWaterFlyFishingGuideBlog, heavy on the journal-style stories, short on the fish porn, hero shots, and backslapping.

Glad I found this place again and was able to reconnect and join the group... there's so much good reading out there to connect to.

Been reading your blog for a while (largely due to the absence of fish porn and any self-congratulatory "awesomeness").

Great stuff.

Kat Scott (KatScott) | 4 comments HI,

I'm envious of all of these great blogs, but I keep mine in a bound journal most of the time, where I mine later for thoughts my books. I did start writing the Women and Cane column for www.flyfishergirl.com, if that counts.

My new goal is to at least find time to peek at all of yours soon.

I do have to admit, I read Trout Underground whenever I need a lift.

Anthony | 5 comments Thanks Ron - if you're a putative poet then I'm a presumptive poet. :0

I posted a poem on a fly fishing forum and there was response that people either love poetry or hate it - the poster happened to be the former. But I never thought about it like that. I guess every time I post a poem I'm bringing on the hate from some quarters (maybe most) but it's in me and it's got to come out. Thanks again Ron.

Ari Vineberg | 2 comments my blog is at www.thefishinglife.com
of late it has been neglected,in part because of other projects and also because it gets pirated by other sites the moment it is updated...it is disconcerting to write something only to find out that other people are taking credit for your work.
