Lynn Hardy (lynnhardy) | 16 comments I saw the thread on Kindle and it inspired me to ask. I've been told that some Kindle users only look at book that are a certian price. Does this hold true for any of you? Do you pick through the .99 cent books? Or do you only consider books that are 2.99 or more? Or does top 500 rank matter more than price?

I'd really love to hear what you think...

Danielle (Smiley1881) Lynn, I own a kindle and I pick books based on their reviews not the price.

Interesting.... Does reviews include where they stand in the "top 100 list?"

Not usually. I look at how many reviewers and the amount of stars.

Very cool. I wish more people did that. I wish more people would review at Amazon...

Danielle (Smiley1881) Me too, now that I have a kindle I very seldom read bad books because of the reviews.

Lisa O. | 77 comments I just recently got a Kindle, and I usually find books on other sites (like this one) and just use Amazon to buy them. I wish the prices were cheaper, but when I really want a book I usually just buy it regardless. Personally, I don't like the Amazon site very much, I think it could be much more user friendly.

I own a Nook and a Sony Reader and for me I base my purchases on price and availability.

There are some books where I will have to buy the hard copy, those are usually series that I have already purchased and that's to make my bookshelf look better with a complete series rather than missing books.

Other than that I try and get the books I purchase for as cheap as I can get it, and sometimes ebooks are just not that option unfortunately :( It doesn't make sense that they aren't considering the lack of paper and printing =/

You're right, Amazon is a total pain - especially for sellers! Good to know about the price - I'm fighting with my publisher - He moved all his books up to 2.99 for the bigger cut from Amazon. He's giving me one more month at 99 cents...

Sometimes Barnes and Noble since its easy to just wii fi connect from home and have them instantly.

However, any place that offers epub or pdf is fair game, since the book supports those file types.

Let me grab my list of stores and I can name you off a few places :) As always I am more than willing to broaden my store list so if you have any suggestions by all means!
