So far California is winning, so does this mean California will be our first state? How about getting authors to sign during these conventions guys?

Well.. considering that Nobuyuki Anza (though awesome and cute) lives in Japan.. I doubt we'll get him to come to sign for us.

Yeah! Actually I REALLY REALLY REALLY wished I could have gone to vid-con, but no money.. but that's what I heard.. and exactly AJ! You need to be pro-active if you actually want this to be put together.

But online petitions do nothing, it's a real waste of time, if you want something done you have to do it yourself. I'm willing to help, I'm coming back to Missouri soon (hopefully to move back) and I'll help with whatever I can.

Okay, and thank you Bendomolena!!!, that sums this all up very nicely.. oh, we also need to find a very smart and responsible person to be the one to bring this up to the goodreads staff. If the wrong person brings it up it just might not work.

In the middle with a cool city like St. Louis or Chicago!
St. Louis would be a very nice place to have it. There's this nice Marriot hotel in St Louis that has a gorgeous room for meetings. I could look the price it would be to book. We'd have to have maybe a dozen persons that go early and get the room set up (move tables out of way, put stuff together, etc.). It could be very fun!
St. Louis is a nice place, i liked it there.
I like the idea of St. Louis. And there's a six flags there!!!!
The question is though: How many goodreads members would be willing to travel to St. Louis?

Well, since I live in Missouri, St. Louis wouldn't be so hard to get to.
