Mary Ella entered the forge with her book in hand. "Something wrong?" she asked kindly.

Mary Ella left the forge with not much interest for metal.

Her excitement diminished swiftly upon realizing there was someone hard at work inside. Embarassment popped the air out of Phoebe's happy balloon. Sheepish, she waved her fingers a little at McKenna.
"Hi. Um. It was hard finding this place."
Great! Now I sound like an idiot! Phoebe declared to herself.

"What are you working on now?"

"Do you have plans to add gems?"

((I apologize for spelling Ali-Baba wrong. I know it's spelled differently but I'm too lazy right now to verify!))

"So do I. Maybe genies are real. After all, we arethe children of Greek gods. Is your shoulder okay?I heard it pop" stated McKenna. She got up, looked for some gems and started to stick them in a pattern. Blue, red, blue, red, blue, red.... and then a real diamond in the center. The blue and red gems weren't real sapphires and rubies. That would be too expensive.

"Um. It's fine. It um...does that." She shyly tried to dismiss the truth. It had been increasingly worsening since the truth of her birth was revealed; she considered it part of her deformity and tried to hide that fact.
"What you could do instead of those semi-precious gemstones is cut grooves into the metal and create a design around the diamond. Then fill in the grooves with color. Maybe find a blue diamond and create a fire around the center blue flame?"

"I mean, thank you. But if that's the case, I should help you a little. It wouldn't be fair that you did all the work."

"Thanks." She blushed. "So where did you get the materials? Are we given them? I...um...am not sure how it works here. New."

"So," she looked around suspiciously as if campers would magically appear from the walls and ridicule her before she spoke directly to McKenna, "how long have you been at camp?"

Candice gazed in awe at the Forge. "This," she murmured, "Is amazing!"

"Thanks," McKenna replied, as she tied her waterfall long hair into a bun that drooped. "Oh. I've been here for eight years. Yep, that's one of the many cool things about the forge."

((Tanja, McKenna stays at camp all year long, so they would most likely hang out a lot.))

Matt nodded back a greeting, motioning for Xeena to follow him in.

Xeena bounced in beside him, wide smile on her tan face. She'd been waiting a whole year to get the same sword, or close to the same sword as her brother. Her old one was too heavy for her, and had rust on it, even though she took good care of it.

"Little sis needs a sword," Matt replied, gesturing to Xeena.
Vicky pursed her lips as she glanced at Xeena's old sword. "I see," she muttered before returning to a normal tone. "So, what style do you like? Curved, straight, small, large?"

Matt's mouth curved up into a laughing smile. "I think she's ready," he replied.
"Alright then," the Hephaestus agreed. Shen then snapped her fingers as she remembered the last question. "Do you want the sword to change into something when it's not in use?" she inquired. "Like, Matt's turns into his leather necklace."

Vicky grinned and nodded. "Sure. And the bracelet is...black? blue?"

"Thought so," Vicky nodded, ignoring Matt. She sized Xeena up with a last careful eye. "The sword should be done by tomorrow," she decided with a smile.

Gauntlets with long ripping knives coming out from above the knuckles these weapons were designed to rip and slash and stab in close combat.
Whistling an Iron Maiden song he pumped the wheel with his foot, placing a new edge on the already fairly sharp claws.

Vicky laughed softly. "Yep. It's pretty fantastic," she replied with a wink.
"Thanks Vic," Matt smiled and waved.
"Anytime," She replied, turning back to work.
