Ink in My Veins discussion

Ok, I'm seriously stumped on how to get the cover of my book. Like... I've got ideas but... I don't know how to put them into action. I just don't want to spend any money right now. Should I do the photography myself?

Doing photography yourself would be a good idea. I toy with some images I got off of Google and put them in an image editing program like Photoshop or GIMP or Paint. In that case, I would CREDIT the person who took those pictures (make sure you can use those photos). To save time, I would do the photos if I were you.

You might be surprised with what you can do. I've tried different mediums with my cover artwork (drawing, paining, coloring, plain black ink pen, GIMP, etc.).

Just throwing out some ideas.
