I do know in most Muslim countries Firday is the forst day of the wee. I've spent some time in Qatar.

message 22: by Rebekah (last edited Aug 27, 2010 06:19AM) (new)

Rebekah (bekalynn) It's hard to choose between English and Social Studies, but since I didn't like the grammar part of English, only the literature, so I'll go with Social Studies which involved History, geography and study of different cultures.

How many languages can you speak? At least enough to get around a different city?

message 23: by Mirza (new)

Mirza (mirzaarhasan) | 144 comments Mod
I live in Bangladesh, not Pakistan.
I speak only English, and Bangla - which is my mother language. Sure, I guess I know enough English to get around a diffferent city.

who is your favorite actor and actress?

message 25: by Mirza (new)

Mirza (mirzaarhasan) | 144 comments Mod
Hmm, I'm in love with Will Smith right now, but it's temporary. No fav actresses, sorry.
What abt you?

message 26: by Denise (new)

Denise My favorite actor is Sam Elliott although he isn't very active in movies anymore. It is sad that they don't cast older men as romantic leads (or at least not in the United States).

What is your favorite food or food group? (I'm a sweets and starch person--give me dessert and pasta, bread, potatoes and I'm a happy woman.)

message 27: by Rebekah (last edited Sep 09, 2010 04:39PM) (new)

Rebekah (bekalynn) same here! Although second choice would be fruit.

Sometimes they do cast older men but the problem is, the women are always under 35 or so. I can't remember the name of the movie but an example is Jack Nicklous and Helen Hunt.
Did I spell Jack's last name correctly?

who was your hero growing up?

Rebekah (bekalynn) Heidi! Can you believe it?!!
