I'm curious about how the audiobook market plays with these sorts of books. As an author myself, I've considered creating some of my writings in audiobook format. But it's something that I just wasn't sure about for a couple reasons.
1. I'm male, and I don't know whether a male voice is what people are looking for. I have a good voice and I've done radio commercials before, but I wondered whether the people downloading these books would be looking for a female voice.
2. Is there a market for it? Recording an audiobook must take a long time, and I would need an upgrade in equipment to get it done professionally. Is it worth the investment?
I'd love to hear any thoughts you might have.

Yes, there is a market for them. As for narration - lots of people really enjoy hearing the author read their work!

Bluebeard's Wife and Confessions (with an S - not the UMNB sequel) are my voice. I hate my voice and the reviews are mixed. But anyway those are the two I've recorded.
