I think I am going to keep this list as it is for now, apart from The Bible, which although I am a Catholic, it isn't a book I would or could read for pleasure.

I have tried to read it...We are catholic as well....I do however have a bible for my kids that is sort of condensed and made for little ones and they like listening to it...so I have kind of read it:)

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod
mmmm....I have read big chunks for school and know most of it but can't claim to have read it like I have read other books.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

My Dad read the bible and he found it really interesting....not sure that would be the word that I would use:)

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod

Wow!! You are doing great!! I need to make some changes in my list as there are a few that I probably won't read. I love book lists!!!

I am scouring my different challenges and booklists to see where I can kill multiple birds with one stone so to speak. I also tend to vote for books on this list in group reads in other groups too as that helps. :)

Hope to read a few more this year. I would just love to exceed my target of ten this year.

message 38: by Frozenwaffle (new)

Frozenwaffle No killing of birds please! :'(

:P I'm doing the same, gonna read the classics in this list first so to fulfill the classics 2013 challenge. I'm also a sucker for reading lists, what is it about book titles tidily lined up in order that makes me so eager? I wonder.

I am a bit of a listaholic in general life. If I have a few things to do over a period of time, how I love to comprise a list, and how rarely I finish the list. :D

I assure you no birds were harmed in the reading of my books :)

I usually lose my list. I'll make one at work for things I want to do when I get home, then forget to look at it. The recliner and a book are much more what I really want to do.

message 42: by Nicolle (new)

Nicolle | 343 comments Mod
Amen to that!

This has never interested me, but I'll see if I can find a cheap copy. :-)

I got if for £1.50 which I thought was a bargain as I've been wanting a copy for ages but could only find them for over £6.
