Hi everyone, A.F. what an awesome idea. Just noticed this on Facebook. I'm Renee, and I've only published short fiction at this point. I have had a couple of 'nibbles' on my novels, but still playing the waiting game.

I write...everything. The common theme I suppose is that it all has a certain darkness to it. I hope I'm able to get to know you all on the threads. My schedule gets a little nuts sometimes, so sometimes I'll be out for a while. Not long enough for anyone to forget me of course.

My name is Chas Andrews and I'm a freelance entertainment writer/blogger/movie critic hailing from Louisville, KY. I'm currently in the process of re-writing older stories and working on submitting them. I enjoy mystery/suspense/thriller fiction and have an ongoing "blog-vella" called The Big Adios. I currently blog locally on WLKY uLocal and am the movie critic for Alt Revolt Music Magazine. Aside from that I do photography, enjoy travel, and listen to music. Oh yeah, and hold down a 9-6 job. Be sure to add your books to the bookshelf and in the appropriate topics in the Books folder. We also have a book discussion running this month, for Ray Bradbury's novel Something Wicked This Way Comes. I just added a topic in the Writers folder to discuss ebooks, so feel free to add your thoughts and links.
Also the group does author Q and A discussions, so if you are interested in one send me a message.

I'm not sure what you meant by the "my writings" section, but any book excerpts can be posted in the Reading Nook folder as a new topic.
You can list your books in the Books folder, in the right topic; for instance if you have a fantasy book, list the blurb and links in the Books folder under the Fantasy/Paranormal topic.
If you have any review requests or offer book reviews there are topics for that in Reviews folder; general book chat happens in the Readers folder, book promotion and writer advice is posted in the listed topics in the Writers folder and for Marketing questions or advice go to the Marketing and Promtion folder.

If some of these folders/sections aren't showing just click "more discussions" at the bottom of the discusion board to see all folders and topics.

Hello, all. I write sci-fi and fantasy, mostly. If anyone's interested, visit my website. A few e-zines have published my stories; they're all free to read online if you feel adventurous. The publishing world seems to be turning on its head with the rise of ebooks, so I'm interested in keeping up with what other authors are doing. I also recently joined the staff of a small e-zine, Quantum Muse, but I'll post more about that in the appropriate sections. Cheers.

Hi, name is Roger. I read a lot; mostly SF and horror but I have a couple of my own books on smashwords. One is for teens and the other is definitely not. I always try to make my work humorous, thereby reducing my potential market exponentially. But I don't care. I just love writing and am happy to have joined this group.

Hi, my name is Pamela and I can't remember a time when I wasn't writing. I have only officially been published in newspapers with articles and a short fictional piece but I'm all 24 and that was all before I was 18. After High school, where I was diagnosed as Bi-Polar 1 I spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals and learning to handle medicine and treatments. So a lot of the progress I could have made was held. I have recently gotten back on track and am laying the ground work for my first novel - an Urban Fantasy. I also write short stories, poems, and songs.
