Labor Day has passed, so North American (and I guess yours, too, Janine) summer has officially passed. You people in the southern hemisphere can make up your own rules. I don't know what to do with you.

How was your summer? If "one" equals "the suckiest summer ever" and "ten" equals "the greatest summer ever", where does your summer land and why?

I agree with Larry and Sarah. I'm glad it went fast, because it was a crappy summer.

Summer was weird and cold and too short this year. I never put my sweaters away.

Summer is not over here. It's mid-90s today! If back to school is the trigger, then summer was over here 2 weeks ago.

I'm going to give it a 5. It was too hot. But otherwise OK.

I give mine an 85. It had a good beat, and was easy to dance to.

And on the plus side:
1. Both daughters home for the summer
2. No one killed anyone (see plus #1)
3. Both girls are now enrolled in college, so far so good.
