Hermione is known to fall into the current love fest of the hottest new male. Jacob (as said in the book) is indeed very attractive. Now, it would be entirely possible for her to think that he is cute, or even begin liking him. However If this is where Renesmee (who could easily beat Hermione) is alive, than Jacob wouldn't even look her way, because he is imprinted on hermione. So therefore, this would never become anything.

I think you're forgetting that Renesemee is still a baby, even if she's growing at a fast rate. Also, she's a Cullen, and the Cullens have "morals." She wouldn't kill. However, Hermione has been in multiple fights and duels. I don't think she ever has killed, but she does have combat experience.

If Hermione fell in love w/Jacob - Jacob wouldn't notice her because of his love for Renesmee, who he imprinted on. Hermione would do nothing, cause SHE fell in love w/ jacob, and Renesmee would kick her butt if Hermione tried to get Jacob.

As most others have said, Renesmee and Hermione would not fight. It is not in their nature to fight and be satisfied with causing pain and torture to the other.

But if they were to be taken completely out of character and fight I'd say Hermione because she's pretty much fast-witted for a human (equivalent to a vampire or just not making it) plus she has distance on Renesmee, aswell as curses and protections she can use against Renesmee's speed. Hit with a simple tripping spell or slowing spell Renesmee would lose her speed, and by confusing her wit another spell, Renesmee would have no chance. Not to mention the fact that Hermione fought in a war and has been learning magic for at the least 7 years.
