Yes, I know it is ironic indeed that I’m posting this, but I feel that I must give an answer to the question: to beep or not to beep?
I’m a junior at high school, and I’ve decide to censor all the words that my teachers don’t say. ;)

Character Posting
- Two characters per cabin only.
- Please have a detailed list of your character’s appearance on the cheet sheets (character profiles). Undescriptive characters will be given a notice. Within 24 hours of you confirming that you have read the notice, and if you have not edited your character, it will be deleted. Within 3 days of not confirming the notice, your unedited character will be deleted. *Note: Fellow mods—please type a notice if you’re about to delete the character. Also, please copy and paste the character description in your notice, putting it between italics using the html. Thanks.
- Be original about their appearance! Instead of saying “They look like Megan Fox” please describe her looks instead— bright blue eyes, long dark hair, full lips and a tall, curvy figure.
- Romance between two half-siblings? Ew, not allowed.
- Romance between two of your characters? Definitely not allowed. This is a GROUP roleplay, so why are you roleplaying with yourself?
- Please try and stick to the attributes of your character’s godly parent while giving your character special powers. Clearly, children of Hades cannot make flowers grow from nowhere.
- Let it be noted that this is an Original Character Role Play (OC RP). Meaning, there are NO characters from the books other than Mr. D and Chiron. So NO Annabeth. NO Percy. NO Thalia. NO Grover. You get my point.

ALSO:

You may not, under any circumstances, god-modd or powerplay.

"God Modding" is in essence when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try. -It can be killing or injuring a character without the player's express permission. -It can be when they simply can’t be hit and dodge all attacks or anything for this matter aimed at them. -It can also be using other characters that other people RP with. In other words, if you do not RP as Legolas, then you cannot have Legolas say anything, or do anything, without the player's express permission. The absolute worst is when they make out another character to be what they’re not, just to make their own character seem superior. They make others seem weak, screaming for help, when they’ve made it quite clear about their advantages and strengths. This is called power-play. It’s a strain of God-Modding, but instead of just being irritating, it’s offensive to boot.
This is a prime example of God Modding:

Player A: Punches Player B
Player B: Dodges attack, grabs Player A and throws him. Player A flies at Player B, who warps behind him and slashes Player A in the back.
Player A: ((Dude... wtf...))

"Power playing" is simply when you roleplay someone else's character without consent. Sort of like God Modding.

Player A:

Lily twirled around and laughed, holding Jacob's hand.

Player B:

Jacob smiled at Lily. Suddenly Lily started acting like a monkey.

Player A:

((Dude... wtf...))

How to Make a Character

We've had a bunch of questions from the newbies on how they're supposed to make a character.
It's quite easy. Choose a cabin and scroll down the list of 'Character & Applications'. Click on '[insert cabin name here] Characters', copy and paste the requirements for characters into the cheat-sheet, or character description.

Be respectful and listen to the moderators. Our decisions are final, and arguing against them would only cause yourself great disadvantage. I strongly suggest you take their advice, and keep your trap shut. Also, do not have a hissy fit at us, throw a big tantrum and please don't complain about your problems in real life. I understand if you just mention them (like, 'I can't come on the internet too much because...') but I don't want you constantly using excuses like 'No one likes me in real life...' That one is SO old, and I'm telling you now that NOBODY believes it for a second. I don't think that's too much to ask of you. :/

Please? Makes our job a little easier. Also, don't make a character diary topic if you aren't going to be active, or if your diary entries are less than two paragraphs, or if you haven't made a character yet.

Question: Which cabins are closed or open? And if a cabin is opened, like one of the big three, do we have to ask for permission before creating a character in them?

I am not certain which cabins are closed/open at this moment, but you can check to see. If the thread is closed and commenting is disabled, the cabin is closed :( However, this gives you lots of opportunity to check out the lesser-known gods and goddesses, many of whom have awesome powers, letting you get really creative with your character n_n
