Whatever the cause this time, the feeling itself was familiar.Blood Lines

The story I just read last night from chicken soup for the mothers soul almost made me cry . This book's stories are very emotional and it is easy to get caught up in the emotions while you are reading . I really admire the mother's who have written a story about overcoming the grief associated with the death of their child . I know that them writing the story is part of their healing but it must be extremely hard to get to the point where you can do something like writing a story for others to read after something like that happens . It makes me feel more daily gratitude for my life even though it isn't perfect .Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul

I found an interesting and touching article in the least likely of places- Facebook. One of my favorite bands posted a blog regarding one of its members giving back to a third world country. What shocked me was the reactions and opinions of Americans who are against giving help to any other country but our own.

The Ultimate Reality Show

I still haven't finished this book but I am getting close to the end. Right now,I'm shocked by the selfishness of a few characters in the novel. I hope I wouldn't end up acting like them if I were in a competition for money. Then again, the nice people never win.
