I read Laura Griffin's "Unstoppable" in the DEADLY PROMISES anthology last night. So good. I cannot wait for her next book in the Tracers series:)

Pj Ausdenmore (pjpuppymom) | 100 comments I just finished a charming, contemporary, holiday romance by Lisa Plumley called HOLIDAY AFFAIR. I'll be reading more by this author! Next up is WARRIOR by Zoe Archer.

message 6: by Theresa (new)

Theresa Romain | 420 comments PJ, I have WARRIOR too! I'm torn between that and Tiffany Clare's SURRENDER OF A LADY as my next read. Maybe I'll switch back and forth -- I'm eager to read both. I think Zoe Archer's next Blades book is out today.

message 7: by Pj (new)

Pj Ausdenmore (pjpuppymom) | 100 comments Theresa, I've read SURRENDER OF A LADY and I don't think you'll be able to switch back and forth with that one. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down!

I have SCOUNDREL too, the second of Archer's books (yes, it releases today) so I can read them back-to-back. I love when books in a series are released so close together!

message 8: by Calila (new)

Calila I read All He Desires by Anthea Lawson. Took a bit to get into it...bu I liked it once I did.

PJ, you are right. I gulped it all down last night. It was different from what I was expecting -- less of a focus on the romance, and more on Jinan's own journey. That's not a criticism at all, because I thought it worked really well! So beautifully written and a very unusual story. I'm glad Tiffany's next comes out in just a few months. The teaser excerpt at the end of SURRENDER was great.

Now, on to Warrior! Or I do still have Chase's Mr. Impossible waiting in my TBR. Can't believe I haven't read that one yet.

I just read Trial by Desire. Wonderful! Courtney Milan's language and dialog is just amazing, again.

message 21: by Cindy (new)

Cindy (cindyw35) | 128 comments I finished 92 Pacific Boulevard by Debbie Macomber. It was my least favorite in the Cedar Cove series. I didn't really connect to any of the characters in the book.

Now I'm reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

message 22: by Irisheyes (new)

Irisheyes | 896 comments Finished SINFUL IN SATIN. I liked it but not as much as the other two so far. It also really whet my appetite for Castleford and Daphne! I just can't wait to read about those two! He is such a hoot!

I re-started BILLY BOB WALKER GOT MARRIED last night and am almost finished with it. Great book! I love the feel of them being real people and watching them learn to trust each other and grow together.

message 23: by Calila (new)

Calila Reading Seducing the Duchess by Ashley March. Its good so far.

Now that my reviews are posted at The Romance Dish, I can say that I LOVED Anne Gracie's The Accidental Wedding. I have been anticipating Nash's story since Book 1, and his heroine, Maddy, is one of the best I've read this year. I liked Kate Moore's To Temp the Devil too, but not quite as much as I did her first Sons of Sin book.

Today I'm reading Lavinia Kent's Taken by Desire.

Ooops! That would be Kate Moore's To Save the Devil. It was Anna Campbell who wrote about tempting him in Tempt the Devil (2008). Sorry. Sometimes these titles get confusing.

I echo everything irisheyes said about BILLY BOB WALKER GOT MARRIED. A great book . And I also love how she captured the feeling of young love--the flirtation and intensity. Wylene what else by brown do you recommend?

As far as I know, she's only written two others. Crazy for Lovin' You is almost as good as BBWGM. Sleeping at the Magnolia is ok, with what seems to be her trademark bad-boy hero, but I thought it lacked that extra quality that the other books have--the characters that seem so real they almost leap pff the page.

I found a message board about Lisa G Brown on allreaders.com . Apparently she's teaching in a small town, and going for a Ph.D, which she must be about to complete (the poster said she was her daughter) So I think there must be hope she'll write again.
And she also has one book under the name Dana Warren Smith, apparently. I've ordered them all.

I am re-reading Lisa Kleypas´ Worth Any Price and I so enjoying it.
