You look like you've joyously depleted your wallet :). I vaguely remember looking at The Replacement on goodreads, but I can't remember what it was supposed to be about, thanks for reminding me of it--I'll have to look at it again :)
The last book that I bought was from the Goodwill store:
I don't necessarily believe the stuff that these authors and Dan Brown-like authors suggest in their books, but I like reading controversial topics just to expand my mind. I need to go to B&N or Half Price Books and go on a book spree. It's been too long since my last splurge (even if my family tells me I can't buy anymore books until I finished the ones I have).

It's just hard to resist when you need something new to read. And then I just came back from the Goodwill again--found two books I wanted:
Fun times when your step-grandfather comes to visit, he'll pay for whatever you find in the cheap stores :)

I've done more damage, obviously.

Yes, a lot more manga. I don't really have the shelf space for any fiction at the moment. Well, that's not true. I have space for classics, and maybe memoirs. Otherwise, I have about half a shelf for books on religion, language or culture. All of which could be considered culture, even though mythology is shelved separately...
Anyway! My manga shelf is most open.
I always wanted to read Patrick Taylor. He's sort of like James Herriot, only for humans. The character of the books is an Irish doctor in the countryside of Ireland (don't remember where). The books have been on my to-read shelf a while.
You are more ambitious, I don't divide my books into sections. But anyway, this is what I got at the Goodwill yesterday:
My aunt recommended The Help to me and I've always wanted to read Stephen King's thoughts on writing. It was amazing that I found these two books at the Goodwill store for 1.99 each, good as new. Must have been my lucky day.

And then I got all sorts of FUN "textbooks" for my education courses....

I also got some beautiful hardcovers, designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith.

And then some fun books, just because.

That's been my month in buying books, how about you?

On sale for $5 or less!

The manga sale: believe it or not, I put some back.

And finally, what I spent that measly coupon on:

I really, really should not enter book stores alone. I do some damage online, but not nearly so much as when I can physically pick up the books.
