Carla Cruz | 8 comments I relate myself to Lakshmi on how she gets all excited for something, because she is willing to help her family and she wants to feel like she is doing something for them. That is how I felt when I found my first job.

Agustin Olvera (AGUSTINOLVERA) | 10 comments After getting more into the book it feels like one can relate more and more. At first the emotions to me were exaggerated but as you read on it feels as if you know how much the two characters feel for each other. Their relationship is untouchable by others. The plot i realize is based on how and what they do to keep it alive. As it is exactly how it feels in reality.Eclipse Stephenie Meyer

Megank | 4 comments I am still reading Ironside by Holly Black I am almost done with it but I have to say it is one of my favorite books now. I love the way Kaye puts everyone and their needs in front of hers, her friends her family she is so loyal to them no matter what is going on in her life or theirs. I think that's why I relate to her so much.

I just started reading this book and it amazes me the things that we Americans take for granted. The setting is in Africa. The parents tell the kids not to come into their room at night or they might be mistaken for something else and get shot. They have to go outside to the "loo" to go to the bathroom even if it is at night. It also caught me off guard when the dad offered the young girl a ciggarette to become more relaxed. This book has started off pretty interesting.

Sydney Newhall (sydneynewhall) | 5 comments The second chapter of The Case for Christ begins with a sixteen year old boy, named Michael, who is paralyzed from the neck down because a bullet severed his spinal cord, he was brutally attacked by two boys. Michael was so weak that the Court had to huddle in his hospital room. They asked him many variety of questions testing his testimony, if at any time his answers were unsure or unclear they knew he was lying. His testimony was true. Strobel uses this example to connect his questions about how the Bible was recorded.
