The publishing world is changing. We are a «native digital» publisher and we started exploring the book world with a collection of sophisticate short fiction and a selection of short-but-really-focused essays. (see the list)

More: we tried to shift the «role of the publisher» from «rights owner» to partner-in-profit with the authors. But still there is more room for innovation: think about the relation between the publisher and the reader, for example.

The digital landscape is fastly evolving and nobody has experience, so we all have to try and fail many times. «Fail. Fail often». says the savvy man.

So we are looking for our experiences (and our fails), trying to establish a form of win-win game with our readers.
To do this, by the way, first of all we need to establish a sort of initial relation with the readers, with you.

And we want to do it using our books. We will select 5 readers for each language (english, italian, portuguese) every month.
And we will give them our new ebooks for free, to get their feedback and to offer their reading experience to other readers.

A few rules:

* there is no obligation to review the book (you know: if you don't review it, it is a feedback as important as the review)

* there is no obligation to review positively the book. We are looking for feedbacks, not necessarily for good feedbacks.

If you want to participate simply apply posting here a comment(or asking your questions). October is just starting.

@Sue: Nice :)
You got the first october "ticket" for our english versions :)
Please, choice the first ebook we can send to you :)

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ (manutwo) Ciao! What kind of feedback are you looking for? If we liked the story or didn't? The formatting? Editing? All of the above? :)

I find sometimes that there are fantastic books with a poor formatting, which is really annoying, especially in e-readers. Anyway, I'm digressing, I am Italian and usually read both in English and Italian. I'd love to participate.

Last question. How much time does one have to give the feedback?

Ciao Emanuela: general feedbacks are welcome. But, as we said, there's no obligation to give a feedback.

(We have a professional formatting, so -in case- the best feedback is about the story or the essay).

So, are you applying for english or italian?

Dario Tonani | 8 comments Plaudo all'iniziativa. Come autore e soprattutto come lettore. Spero che tutti i volontari, anche a letture ultimate, condividano lo stesso entusiasmo dei promotori e lascino una breve feedback sui libri letti.
Dario

It should be funny the reverse thing too: we read your profile and we propose you a book..

Anyway, if you have preferences, link here the title

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ (manutwo) I'm not choosy, I'll read anything, but Cardanica seems just my cup of tea. Or rather espresso. I'd rather read Italian authors in Italian, because translations irk me :)

message 17: by Dario (new)

Dario Tonani | 8 comments Espresso, Emanuela? But with "Cardanica" don't expect sugar in your cup :-)
Dario

Emanuela ~plastic duck~ (manutwo) Mezzo cucchiaino, Dario? Ho un rapporto di amore/odio con le macchine, sono convinta che siano umorali, quindi la storia mi intriga molto :)

message 19: by Dario (new)

Dario Tonani | 8 comments Grazie Emanuela, leggila a digiuno allora.
