Jessy (jessy4269034) | 91 comments This one is about Harper and Drina. She is a Argeneau cousin from Spain. Lynsay has posted her last name but I can't find it. Anyway it the Spanish root of Argeneau.

I'll post more as soon as find out more!

Ah, so it's a newly introduced character. I swear am going to start needing a spreadsheet!LOL
Have we read about Drina before at least?

That's my only grumble too, Vale. Yet perhaps it's not about which character she feel she NEEDS to write about, but rather the story arc? It's not usually until i have read the book that i see the science to her madness.LOL

Jessy (jessy4269034) | 91 comments I have read on alot of forums of different authors that they write about whoever is "screaming" for thier story to be told. I see where you're coming from Vale; it makes no sense to me either. If thats the case, then blame the characters not the author.

Jessy (jessy4269034) | 91 comments I have finally found Drina's last name!

It's Argenis. Also she is an enforcer. This is probably one of the reasons she comes to Port Henry. Marguerite's match making the second ;)

Pooh, you shouldn't. I didn't even think about it until you mentioned it, goes to show you that our minds are more on the books than all the "background" stuff. *air kiss*

Jessy (jessy4269034) | 91 comments I feel like I have posted this somewhere before but I will add here since its about this installment of the series:

The Reluctant Vampire, the fifteenth book in the Argeneau series is set in the little town of Port Henry and involves one of Elvi's potential suitors from The Accidental Vampire, Harpernus Stoyan. Harper lost his lifemate, Jenny, during her turn and has blamed himself for her death ever since, so he's rather happy for the distraction when Tiny and Mirabeau arrive with a young immortal in tow. Stephanie McGill is a young newly turned, immortal who is being hunted by a mad no-fanger named Leonius. When Anders and Drina Argenis (Argeneau) arrive to help, Harper finds himself working with the beautiful young Spanish woman. But things get interesting when Stephanie decides to take on the role of cupid and bring Drina and a reluctant Harper together. How much trouble could a newly turned teena ge vamp be?

You may have mentioned the first few lines for the characters maybe? The rest is new though. Makes the book more exciting now!LOL

Jessy (jessy4269034) | 91 comments I swear I saw them before. I was looking under every topic I have posted under in the past month or so but I couldn't find where I posted the entire summary so....here we are.

I don't know how I feel about Stephanie being matchmaker. It means she'll have a lot of screen time in this one. I don't know, she just hasn't warmed up to me yet. Maybe in this one she will but I still think she is too young.

LOL! I could have sworn i saw it somewhere too. Oh well....

I agree about Stephanie. It's odd for me but i'm not attached to her character at all. She got a lot of screen time on Tiny's book too, which gave the couple less time for us to read about them.

Jessy (jessy4269034) | 91 comments Yeah. Tiny and Beau's story felt rushed to me. I know she had only a certain nu,ber of pages she could have but....It was like one minute they weren't sure about their feelings for one another and the next they were saying I want you.

Jessy (jessy4269034) | 91 comments Book Description

Has this immortal finally met her match?

Rogue hunter Drina Argenis (from the Spanish side of the Argeneau family) has been many things in her years as an immortal, but bodyguard/babysitter to a teenage vampire is something new. There's an incentive, however: the other vampsitter, Harper Stoyan, may be Drina's life mate.

Trouble is, having just lost a life mate, Harper is resigned to being alone. He's completely unprepared when sexy and unpredictable Drina bursts into his life to reignite his passions. Can Drina, with a little matchmaking help from their teen charge, tempt this reluctant vampire to take a chance?

Or will a dangerous, unseen renegade kill Drina and Harper's one chance at happiness?

I finished the book yesterday morning. It was good, although a bit slow in the story progression. The relationship progressed at perfect pace though, liked how i didn't feel like smacking anyone. He may have started with baggage at the beginning of the story, but she didn't let him get away with it and acted like a great heroine. Knowing just how to persuade and win him over, and when to give him a good kick in the bum.

I'm REALLY intrigued by Stephanie's powers though. I don't recall reading about anyone, not even Lucian having such abilities and it looks like neither have any of them.LOL
Which means the Lanius(?) arc is not going to be ending any time soon, at least not in the next two books.
