I found that to with the BDB series I liked them up until Phury's Book (didn't like). Oh and I didnt even want to read Butch's... But I loved the rest... But I haven't read any past Phury's, Do you think they are good? I like the tough, hard, dangerous heros, and I find the rest are softies and somewhat boring and inexperienced. What are your thoughts??

This is totally all in my opinion!lol

I think they get somewhat better after Phury's book (which is by far, my least favorite). I actually liked Butch's book and it does explain somethings in some of the books that come after Butch's. I'll still read them, but the first books are still my favs...especially Zsadist, Rhage and Vishous (except I didn't really care for what JR Ward did with Jane...but I really like V).

I think they got a little more UF after V's book. Phury and that ridiculous pirate in his head, annoying.... I really like Rev's book, but he was already established as such a badass in the earlier books so his book felt more like the first four.

I've read

Stolen Fury (Stolen Trilogy, #1) by Elisabeth Naughton by Naughton.... I have Marked (Eternal Guardians, #1) by Elisabeth Naughton on my TBR, but have seen mixed reviews. If you had to pick three words to describe it would any of them be "dark" "alpha" or "sexy" in any combination?? ;)

Marked (Eternal Guardians, #1) by Elisabeth Naughton
It's been awhile since I read it but I must of enjoyed it if I gave it 5 stars!

From what I remember I would say yes the dark, sexy, alpha, combo is in there.

I just ordered The Goblin King by Shona Husk I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival!
I like the new take on the "Goblins", since the word Goblin makes me think of yucky little creatures...

So I'm excited to read about a sexy Goblin King! The story line seems very appealing as well!
