I am going to be starting the Nightside series next month sometime. The first book is Something from the Nightside.
That is a series I've been wanting to start too! I don't think I'd be able to get through the first 5 books in time but there are probably others that will be reading it soon. Good suggestion Carolyn!

I would be up for

The Fall

I reserved it and hoped to get to it this month but it didn't happen. I am still pretty far down the reserved list so--NOVEMBER
Masques (Sianim, #1)

Regarding the books others have mentioned, I love Green, but am about 6 books into that series. I will probobly chime in though. Read Rosemary and rue and the rest of that series already. Dont really like the Vincint series. However the first couple in that series were pretty good.
A quick glance of the books I have from the library and those on reserve about to be picked up or next two in line are:
Dust

Boneshaker

Magic Study

Killbox

Venom

Bayou Moon

Shakespeare Undead

Torment

Hush, Hush

Eighth Grade Bites

The YA books I am reading with my granddaughter (twelve). She has discovered grandma reads cool stuff, so some YA, I would probobly pass on, I am now reading and enjoying through her.
Any of these that folks are interested in I will be sure to read for NOV.
Lily, I just got my copy of The Fall today! I probably won't be able to get to it until next month (maybe late October if I'm quick).

My granddaughter states that Eighth Grade Bites is so popular, you cant even dream of getting it from her middle school library. It sounds cute. Did you enjoy it?

I think we'll announce our group read for November tomorrow night.
So far it looks like there are four of us that will be reading Something from the Nightside.
Hey Lily, I started The Fall yesterday... I couldn't wait. Let me know when you read it and we'll chat :)

I really want to avoid using polls because I think some people vote on polls just for fun without really planning on reading the book. We have only a few active members so I'm going to try something new. If you see a book you WILL read next month (if it's chosen) please comment. If you are planning on reading more than one book that is mentioned feel free to chime in for both books. I'll keep a running tally of all the comments for each book mentioned.
If there is enough interest in a couple books then we could have more than one going - kind of like buddy reads I guess...
Anyways - What books are you planning on reading in the next month that might be good for a group/buddy read?
