I think music is one of the most empowering things.
Music can make you feel at peace, then it can make you mad.
Music can bring people together, and tear them apart.
I think music is more then what people give it credit for.
And I think a lot of singers nowadays are talentless and have the same voice.
People have no respect for the classical music that has no words.
Some people just dont seem to like it, and I dont get that.
Why isnt wordless music treated the same as lyrical music.
I mean, with the way they're making music now, you cant understand the words anyways...
So why is it uncool to go to an Orchestra,
but cool to go see a person on a fancy stage sing for about 1000 bucks?

Classical music is so cool! It makes you think and interpret and actually brings out different ranges of emotion without putting a defining mark on them. Orchestra is cool, if someone thinks it isn't tell them to pick up a violin or a cello (no don't pick up the cello)and try to play a line. If they knew how complicated it was they would whimper. =)

i mean, i play bass clarinet.
and ur right, people need to put themselves in a players position before they judge.
they SHOULD whimper!!!!
FEAR THE AWESOME!

Awesome! I never heard of The King And I. So I will put on the list of musicals I have to watch!

Haha, I think she meant that! Annie is the only girl I know who can sing that song! I haven't watched the movie in a while!

I could never say that right when I was little. It would always sound like I was using a s and not the c. Yeah. . .my parents had a fun time correcting that one.

If you lived in Texas you would hate Texas history even more. I love history but I hated Texas history and it was it's own class. Texas children have to take thiss course for a year!

It sounds boring, like all it is is a barren wasteland of sand and orange dirt. A tumble weed grazing past the surface. Yep, boring.
OMG. I hate that. If I could change anything it would be how the rest of the US and possibly the world views Texas.
We don't have orange dirt and dirt trails, we sometimes have tumble weeds but you don't see them often. We don't ride around on wagons and horses. We don't say "howdy", wear belt buckles and cowboy boots all the time. Though we do say "Ya'll" and have a kind of southern drawl but we aren't the hardcore cowboy state mostly everybody thinks us up to be.
*sorry for the rant but this is something that just irks me the wrong way.*
