So, I think I'm going to reread this book this month. Somewhere between pages 20-40 the book has you grabbed. It's one of my favorite scenes ever. I was shocked since I just wasn't expecting things to go the way they did. Also, Bones is one of the sexiest male characters I've ever read about.

Oh ya...This is on the top 100 fantasy challenge so if you're participating in it, this one will help you clear another book off the list. So are books 2 and 3 from this series.

Starzee | 106 comments Oh I love this series!! It's one of my all time favourites. Loved every book, and can't wait for number 5 to be released. I think there's also going to be a couple more in the series as well. Fingers crossed! Have been drooling over Bones since the very beginning, but I'm hoping to read more aboout Vlad, he intrigues me the most out of all of the minor characters. And I have my suspicions that Ian and Cat's mother might get it on in one fo the future books :P
And I also loved First Drop of Crimson with Spade and Denise =D.

At least 7. Hopefully the contract gets extended.

Okay, it was extended to 9. Also, I think I heard something about a 3-5 book series for one of the characters. I'm thinking I heard Vlad, but I don't have time to research to confirm that. Gtg to work.

Starzee | 106 comments Wow, 9 books! Awesome. Thanks for letting me know.

Hopefully the 3-5 book series is on Vlad! I might look further into it and see if it is. Thanks again

I know. Vlad is the best. She says Ian isn't ready for a girl yet. He needs to grow up a bit. So, it'll be a little before he gets a book.

So, I've decided to re-read this series in January to prep for the new book in February. I think it'll be fun. I really have to re-read Ch. 32 (book 2). ;) I told a guy friend about the fact that Frost sells t-shirts that just say CH. 32. His response was that he should make one that said "I can do everything in Ch. 32." It'd be pretty funny.
I also like the "Lucifer's bouncing balls, kitten. Not again," sayings.

Starzee | 106 comments Okay, so I totally spaced when you said that stuff about CH.32. So I got my copy out and searched for it. After reading the first line, I remembered everything! LOL. That didn't stop me from reading the chapter again though hahaha.
I like your friends idea =D

And yes I love those sayings too lol. Cracks me up everytime

All it took was 1 line for me too, but I didn't reread it all even though I wanted to. I'm going crazy because I want to.

Starzee | 106 comments Sigh... I have too many books to read before I can re-read this series. And most times as soon as I start a re-read the whole book comes flooding back to me in great detail and it puts me off re-reading it because it feels like I just have. Don't know if that makes sense...

It makes sense. My memory is good enough that I was able to read War and Peace over a 10 year period and still remember the first few chapters. There are a few books I can reread though because sometimes the small details are what makes the book. The little things that are easily forgotten... Other times, I can't do it.

message 15: by Starzee (new)

Starzee | 106 comments Yes, you're definitely right. It is the small details. So if I do manage to complete my ever-growing list of books to read, I'll try to enjoy the re-reads, focusing on those little details that I've no doubt forgotten =D

Whitney (whitneychakara) | 13 comments Chapter 32 creeped me out a little about the blood but it was funny at parts esp. the end.
