Annabelle (mrs-varen-nethers) | 121 comments Okay guys, don't fail me here!

I've been editing the first chapter of a story I want to post soon, and I realized one of my characters is still unnamed! Obviously, that won't do.

So, here's what this character's all about:
1) Always-tousled chestnut hair
2) Warm brown eyes
3) 18 years old
4) A noble-I haven't decided his rank yet (help me choose his rank, too, guys <3)
5) Average-tallish
6) Handsome, but not striking
7) From Valora (imaginary country based on Wales)
8) He's betrothed to Princess Eira. Find her in this thread.
*) His name absolutely must be Welsh. Or rather, it must at least sound somewhat Welsh-ish, or he won't fit into the story as smoothly.

Nate few suggestions: Arion, Bryce,Cade, Ellis, Gavin,Hayden,Kendrick,Lloyd,Matthias, Reece, Sayer, Trevor.
These are all welsh names

C Here's a lit of ranking nobility from greatest to least. I figured that since he's only 18 that he's not a king unless his parents have both died or something.

1. Prince
2. Duke
3. Marquess
4. Earl
5. Viscount
6. Baron

If he is betrothed to the princess though, he's most likely a prince but if you don't want him to be, I guess any of these would be fine :) I can't wait till you post some of this story!

Annabelle (mrs-varen-nethers) | 121 comments Thanks so much! I think I'm going to go for prince. It does make the most sense.

For the names…these are good, but anything a little more regal-sounding?

I did a google search, there are tons of name sites. You'll be able to find a ton of names .
I typed in welsh names in the search bar

Annabelle (mrs-varen-nethers) | 121 comments I see…and I guess it's kind of selfish of me but I like it better when people find me names. That way I know how well certain names are known and what sounds the best in a general consensus. I want to choose the name that fits best, and I need people for that.

Brynmor, Bryson, Gaven, Merion (which conveniently means from Wales), Tarrant, Tryston

These are pretty cool names, if I do say so myself! All Welsh as requested.

Nate I see where your coming from, if others are suggesting the names they like them too. makes sense

Kaylin, I love Bryson and Merion! Awesome job! The question is, which one?

Nate Bryson ...Merion to me sounds like a girls name I'd pick on the dude relentlessly with a name like that (I'm just saying lol) On a side note Gaven is a cool name too.

Um... Hmmm. I like Merion just because of what it means; it fits perfectly. But just name-wise, Bryson definitely.

Annabelle (mrs-varen-nethers) | 121 comments I think I'll probably use Bryson. Thanks! (:
